Why would he then sell 80% of his MGM Resorts stocks that same month, when most would have BOUGHT stocks under these circumstances??

In addition to 8Chan and 8kun, 4Chan is the same anonymous forum where Q dropped their posts.
An insider, named John, who had already established a track record of credibility, revealed…3 weeks before the shooting (on 9/11/17)...that an imminent terror plot was being cooked up for Las Vegas.
This story was also covered on a site called Squawker.
He warned users to stay away from any gatherings of large groups of people in Vegas or nearby Henderson. Here are his posts to 4Chan...

Las Vegas is, in many ways, the capital city of the black-ops world. The infamous Nellis Air Force Base is 13 miles away from the Las Vegas strip. Nellis is “one of the largest and busiest air bases in the country,” with six different wings instead of the usual one.
There are many underground build-outs at Nellis, where many different classified programs take place.
Some casinos have elevators that will take you down to sub-shuttles for quick trips to Nellis, Area 51, and elsewhere.

Have you ever heard of Janet Airlines? JANET stands for: Just Another Non-existent terminal. It also stands for: Joint Air Network for Employee Transportation.
This airline is the most exclusive airline in the entire world. No money in this world can buy you a boarding pass for one of their planes…even though their airplanes are mostly older Boeing 737s and small Beechcraft airplanes.
The airplanes have no logo…just a red stripe that runs along the plane front to back.
