Have you ever heard of The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel?

The original Waldorf-Astoria Hotel opened in 1893 in
New York City.

It was demolished in 1929 to make way for the construction of the Empire State Building

Waldorf, Germany was the ancestral home of the Astor family.

The Astors had the hotel built in New York City.

Hence the name
Waldorf-Astoria

The story goes…

The original hotel started as two hotels…two hotels built by two relatives from the same ASTOR FAMILY.

The first hotel…the 13-story, (450-room) Waldorf Hotel, was opened on March 13, 1893…at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 33rd Street.

The 2nd hotel…
On November 1, 1897,
John Jacob Astor IV opened the 17-story “Astoria Hotel” adjacent to the Waldorf Hotel. 17 you say?!😁

Eventually the two hotels became one…The Waldorf-Astoria…the largest hotel in the world at the time!

Think about this!!☝️☝️

One hotel was built in 1893 by William Astor. He had a feud with his Aunt, so he built his hotel next to her house.

Then…William Astor’s cousin,
John Jacob Astor IV…built a hotel next to the first hotel in 1897??

Is it possible that the second hotel that was built…by John Jacob Astor IV…may have happened because of
TIME TRAVEL.
