The lifeboats:

There were only 1,178 spots on the lifeboats.
There were over 2,200 passengers.
The ship had a capacity of 3,547 passengers.

WHY were there only 1/3 the amount of lifeboats that there should have been given the max capacity?

What did they know??

The White Star line had two sister ships:
The Olympic and The Titanic.
Both were identical versions of each other.

•The Olympic had a collision incident on its maiden voyage.

•There were many other incidents…including an incident which damaged the propeller. This weakened
the ship.

•There was also a kitchen fire aboard The Olympic that happened just prior to the Titanic’s maiden voyage.

The kitchen fire smoldered for 3 weeks…which damaged the hull.

•The first week of March 1912 both sister ships were docked side-by-side in Belfast, Ireland.

Was the Titanic swapped out with The Olympic…a weakened ship with multiple problems?
