But there is an interesting story relative to this event that needs a spot light…

The winner of the 2024 US OPEN golf championship was
BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU

Bryson was raised in California.
He went to college at SMU in Texas, where he currently still lives.

Did anyone notice the X on his cap?

Bryson DeChambeau is a BIG fan of Payne Stewart.

Bryson often wears the traditional golf beret that Payne Stewart wore…in Payne’s honor.

Payne Stewart also went to SMU.

Remember Payne Stewart?

Payne was a golf legend.

He also had a very weird and tragic “death” in an airplane acccident.

Btw…coincidentally,
Payne Stewart also won the US Open at Pinehurst in 1999.
This was the same event and location that Bryson DeChambeau just won on Sunday, 6-16-2024…25 years after Payne Stewart’s victory.

If you will recall, the plane golfer Payne Stewart was flying in was on autopilot…and flying way off course without anyone steering it.

Many think he’s in witness protection.

Most golfers in America belong to the PGA Tour (Professional Golf tour).

But over the past few years, many players have broken away from the PGA to join LIV GOLF.

LIV Golf is financed by the Public Investment Fund…the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia

As you can imagine, the PGA is not happy about this, and have been very vocal in their displeasure with the defectors to LIV.

2020 and 2024 US OPEN Winner, BRYSON DECHAMBEAU is one of the defectors from the PGA to LIV.

The PGA was so upset with Bryson DeChambeau in 2022 that they had members of the
911Survivors.org group write scathing letters relaying their disgust with Bryson’s decision to go to Saudi-backed LIV golf.

We’ve talked about those NGOs and “non-profits” many times on this channel. Our overall impression has not been a good one.
