So WHY did Howard Hughes Jr and his mother go to this haunted island for a month while he had polio??
Maybe the clues lie with some of the other landmarks!

Christopher Reeve met an elderly woman, who gave him a watch and told him “Come back to me.” After returning to her home, she dies in her sleep.
Eight years later Richard, the character played by Christopher Reeve ends up at THE GRAND HOTEL at Mackinac Island for a getaway weekend because he was suffering from writers block.
There he becomes enthralled with a vintage photograph of Elise McKenna, an early-20th century stage actress. She turns out to be the woman who gave him the pocket watch.
Having fallen in love with Elise, Richard becomes obsessed with traveling back to 1912 and meeting her.
Through self hypnosis, he ends up traveling back in time and meeting Elise in the year 1912. The love story goes from there.

Soooo…
Given the weird relationship with Howard Hughes Jr. and his mother Allene, is it possible that this is what took place at Mackinac Island when Howard Jr was there for “treatment with polio?”
Remember…the Rockefeller Institute was behind
Dr Chickering’s visit with Howard Jr., and the month long excursion to Mackinac Island with Howard’s mother, Allene.
I’ve read in many articles that Howard Jr. was into the paranormal.
Were they doing experiments on him?
Was Howard able to go back in time using self hypnosis??
Did it involve his mother?
The phrase “secret rendezvous” may take on a different meaning.

And how did Dr Chickering know that Howard Hughes Jr. would be okay?
Did he have the antidote for polio?
Or did he know the REAL CAUSE of polio??
As we discovered from our deep dive into polio (8/23/23-8/28/23), it was insecticide…specifically DDT…that caused POLIO!!
The Rockefellers knew it.
And they promoted it.
