Let’s return to this story line we talked about yesterday with Johnny Cash and his wife Vivian Liberto.
👇👇👇
On October 4, 1965
Johnny Cash was arrested at the U.S.-Mexico border.
He had purchased a large quantity of amphetamines and sedatives from a Mexican dealer.

Customs agents found
475 Equanil tablets and
688 Dexedrine capsules
stashed in his guitar case and threw him in jail.

Cash spent a night in jail and, two months later, plead guilty to the possession of illegal drugs.

At this time Vivian Cash was living in a secluded home with her children in Casitas, California.

Vivian Cash made the trip to El Paso to be with her husband, Johnny Cash during his sentencing.

Johnny got a $1,000 fine and a deferred sentence.

Before we go further…

Let’s go to Wikepedia and see what was said about Vivian.

According to Wikipedia
Vivian Liberto Cash…the wife of Johnny Cash…was “Sicilian-American.”

But was she??

Look at her father’s description. “Magician.”Hmmm.
That never sits well with me.

You get the sense that something is up with this?

Yeah me too.

We will discuss her background more…a bit later.

As Johnny Cash walked down the courthouse steps in El Paso, Texas, with his wife Vivian, he was about to spark a firestorm!!

An Associated Press photo of Johnny & Vivian Cash ran in newspapers the next day.

For many readers of the newspaper, and followers of Johnny Cash, this would be the first time they would get a glimpse of Vivian Cash…who was rarely photographed.

They all saw what we all know…she was black (or of black descent).

The National States Rights Party…an Alabama white supremacist group…republished the photo in its newspaper: The Thunderbolt.

The article was filled with racist rhetoric.

This is Johnny Cash and his wife we are talking about here!!😢

They wrote:

“The money generated by Cash’s hit records went to scum like Johnny Cash to keep them supplied with dope and negro women.”

Man, I'm livid! These cowardly acts of terror are tearing at the fabric of our society. We can't let these misguided individuals divide us based on skin color or religion. These innocent girls and their families deserve justice and we need to stand together in the face of such heinous crimes. Let's show these bombers that hate will never win! Pray for the victims and their families and let's all do our part to make this country a safer place for everyone.

Damn, I can't believe this! These church bombings in Birmingham were a disgrace to our country. How could anyone do such a heinous act targeting innocent black girls and people? It's sickening to see this hate and violence continue. These victims, their families, and our community are hurting, and we must stand together to condemn this act and ensure justice is served. We can't let these senseless acts divide us. We need to be the change we want to see in this world. Let's unite and put an end to this kind of bigotry.
