Yesterday I laid out the details of the Jonestown Massacre that occurred at Jonestown, Guyana. As we discussed, we were led to believe that the Massacre was caused by “Mass Suicide” as directed by the Temple’s leader: Jim Jones.
After the massacre, which occurred on November 18, 1978, Chief Pathologist for Guyana, Dr. Leslie Mootoo immediately came on scene hours after the incident. Dr. Mootoo kept his findings close to the vest, knowing he might have to show up later in court to testify. Remember…we were told that the victims all drank kool-aid that was laced with cyanide.
Dr. Mootoo did not see any of the typical symptoms of cyanide poisoning in any of the victims. Typically, the facial muscles of cyanide victims should draw back into a deadly grin, called “cyanide rictus.” It was absent in the Jonestown victims. Instead, 83 of the 100 adult bodies Dr. Mootoo examined had needle puncture marks between their shoulders. Because the victims would not have been able to administer the drug themselves in this way, Mootoo concluded they had been held down and forcibly injected.

There were many other data points that disputed the media’s version of what happened at the compound in the days following the massacre.
One discrepancy was the body count. The Guyanese Army counted the number of victims as 408. Days later when the US Army arrived, this number was progressively revised upwards to 775…then 800…then 869…then 910…then, 912, and then settling in at the total of 913. Even the 913 figure seemed odd.
Estimates of the population of Jonestown were in the 1100–1200 range, not including those known to be elsewhere. This meant that at least a 100 of its members had seemingly vanished without a trace. There were other data points (see presentation from yesterday)...too many to re-present.

The bottom line was…if this wasn’t a mass suicide as the media led us to believe, but rather a mass massacre…WHY? There was clearly some kind of cover-up going on. In my research I found two explanations. The first explanation, that I will present to you today, was easier to find. The possible second explanation-which is far more sinister-took a lot of digging. Even still, I have yet to find an article that gives absolute proof to the motive. All we can do is connect dots, and use discernment.
Yesterday you may have picked up on several references to people who had behaved strangely during the aftermath of the massacre. Church members described these killers using words and phrases like “zombie” or “looking through you, not at you” or “hit squad.” Here are some screen-shots of those references from yesterday’s presentation.👇👇
Were the bizarre stories of brainwashing and suicide rehearsals actually part of some sinister medical experiment? The family of Congressman Leo Ryan-who was killed as he was boarding a plane to leave the compound after he came there to investigate rumors of nefarious activity- certainly believed so. They filed a lawsuit 2 years after his murder, alleging that Jonestown was an extension of a clandestine C*I*A mind control operation called MK ULTRA.
It was 3 years prior to massacre, during Senate hearings into MK Ultra, that the world found out that the existence of MK Ultra even existed.

We have learned these past two weeks about MK Ultra experiments involved unwitting subjects, mind-altering drugs, torture, and sensory deprivation.
All of these activities were also reported to have occurred at Jonestown. One survivor said that Jim Jones’ speeches would play all day and all night through speakers at the compound. This might suggest that a form of torture as well as subliminal brainwashing techniques were utilized at the commune day and night.
Had the CIA secretly continued their mind control experiments under the guise of the Peoples Temple?

Jonestown had CIA connections right from the beginning. Jonestown was founded in the mid-1970s. Jonestown, which as we know is located in Guyana, was once a C*I*A training camp for mercenaries as part of their covert operations in Angola.
George Phillip Blakey, a pivotal figure in the forming of the Jonestown community, placed a $650,000 down-payment on the land in 1973. It was Blakely, more than anyone else, who was responsible for moving the People’s Temple to Guyana…far away from the scrutiny that was happening with the People’s Temple when it was located in San Francisco.

Blakey was also an agent of the CIA. He was involved with their clandestine activities in Angola. Although a member of the Jonestown community, Blakey was conveniently absent on the day of the massacre. Blakey was also married to another Temple member…Deborah Layton, who would also play a key role in the tragedy.
Deborah was the sister of Larry Layton. Yesterday we talked about Larry. He was charged with murdering Congressman Leo Ryan when Ryan was trying to leave the compound at the local airstrip outside Jonestown.

Deborah and Larry’s father was Dr. Laurence Laird Layton. Dr. Layton was a UC Berkeley chemist, who later worked on the Manhattan Project.
Dr. Layton was also chief of the Army's Chemical Warfare Division in the early 1950's. Although he was not a member of the Peoples Temple, Dr Layton was an important early fundraiser for Jonestown.

The fact that all 3 of these People’s Temple members or affiliates (Deborah, Larry, and their father Dr. Layton) would play pivotal roles in precipitating the Jonestown tragedy, yet survive unscathed, is deeply suspicious.
Although it’s only speculation about their involvement in some kind of C*I*A operation, a more solid link to the agency was found with Richard Dwyer, a US Embassy official who accompanied Leo Ryan on his visit to Jonestown. Leo Ryan, nor anyone else in the party, were aware that Dwyer was a Clown agent, or that the Guyanese capital of Georgetown housed a C*I*A station.

On the infamous ‘death tape’, where Jim Jones can be heard urging his followers to commit suicide, he refers to Dwyer on several occasions, asking an unknown cult member to “get Dwyer out of here before something happens to him”. Dwyer said he wasn’t there, but rather was at Port Kaituma in the aftermath of the shooting at the airstrip.
Whether Dwyer was lying about his whereabouts, it was clear that the C*I*A knew exactly what was unfolding at Jonestown long before the Guyanese army first found the bodies.

In the early hours of the 19th of November, before the bodies had been discovered, the C*I*A NOIWON secure radio channel reported ‘mass suicides’ at Jonestown. Whether it was Dwyer or not, the C*I*A were present at Jonestown during or shortly after the tragedy. There was no other way they could possibly have known anything had occurred at the commune, let alone a mass suicide.
The C*I*A have always denied any part in the events of Jonestown, or any connection with Jim Jones.
We know the idea of a “mass sucicide was contradicted by Dr. Mootoo’s conclusion that “all but three of the people were murdered by ‘persons unknown.’”
