Back when the LHC was up and running, Stephen Hawking said it could blow up the planet.
Hawking said:
“The Higgs potential has the worrisome feature that it might become megastable at energies above 100bn giga-electron-volts (GeV).
This could mean that the universe could undergo catastrophic vacuum decay, with a bubble of the true vacuum expanding at the speed of light.”

On November 1st, 2009 , something really strange happened...it is believed that The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) created a time warp!
A passenger airplane with 170 passengers on board was traveling from Madrid Barajas, Spain to ———>to Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
The airplane did not end up in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, but rather in Santa Cruz, Canary Islands!! This was 5,500 miles away from where it was supposed to land!!
