Here’s everything you need to know about the Decrypt Labs - KeyXtractor API:

🔰 DRM Key Extraction via PlayReady: The Decrypt Labs - KeyXtractor API gives you the ability to extract content keys from many sites using PlayReady DRM.

• What do I mean by "many sites"? Let's be transparent:

- The PlayReady client I am using is still under development. As a solo developer, I manage everything—from reversing to production—so it's a challenge to handle it all on my own.

- The important thing to note is that the PlayReady API I offer operates at the SL2000 security level.

- You might think PlayReady SL2000 is similar to Widevine L3 security level, but it's actually much more powerful! In fact, on many sites, it can offer even better capabilities than ChromeCDM. Here's a list of supported quality levels for PlayReady SL2000 on some major platforms:

Netflix – Up to 1080p
Amazon – Up to 1080p
Max – Up to 2160p
Apple TV – Up to 1080p
VUDU – Up to 2160p
PeacockTV / NowTV / WowTV / SkyShowTime / Showmax / SkyGO – Up to 2160p (if available)
Canal+ France (VOD/Live), Canal+ Poland (LIVE) – Up to 720p
Canal+ Poland (VOD) – Up to 1080p or higher (if available)

- However, there are some current limitations with my client, meaning that license requests are only accepted by about half of the sites globally. For various reasons, the other half refuses to issue valid licenses for requests made through my client.

• So, which sites are currently supported?

- The API works with most generic sites, up to the maximum available quality. For the above mentioned major sites, it is as follows:

Amazon – Up to 1080p
VUDU – Up to 2160p
Canal+ France (VOD/Live), Canal+ Poland (Live) – Up to 720p

- Once I resolve the issues with my client (which I will do very soon), the remaining sites will also be supported, unlocking the full potential of PlayReady SL2000.


🔰 DRM Key Extraction via ChromeCDM: The Decrypt Labs - KeyXtractor API enables you to extract content keys using the latest reverse-engineered version of ChromeCDM.

• What do I mean by "latest available"? Let's be transparent:

- As many of you know, the ChromeCDM gets revoked periodically, when new versions are released.

- In the past, when a revocation occurred, there was a period where man users over the world, had no option for extracting content keys except by using a standard Widevine L3 CDM.

- When comparing ChromeCDM to a standard Widevine L3 CDM, it offers only limited advantages, such as enabling the licensing of 1080p video quality on platforms like Netflix, Amazon, and Canal+. For most other sites, it operates at the same privilege level as a regular L3 CDM.

- However, as I mentioned earlier, the PlayReady API I offer already covers most of these platforms, with the exception of Netflix.

- So, when the next ChromeCDM revocation occurs, as a Decrypt Labs KeyXtractor API user, you won’t be left in the dark waiting for the next reverse-engineered ChromeCDM version to be ready.

This should address any concerns you may have about the API. Additionally, there are no rate limits or other restrictions on the KeyXtractor API. I’ve received an overwhelming number of messages in just the last two hours! First, I want to say thank you for all the kind words and apologize for not being able to respond promptly. I will do my best to reply to every single message I received today as soon as possible. That said, I noticed some recurring questions, likely due to confusion around some of my earlier posts.

So, here’s a quick summary of everything I announced today:

• New Product Launch:

The Decrypt Labs - KeyXtractor has officially been released.

• Two Variants Available:

The product comes in two forms—an Extension and an API.

• Extension Features:

The KeyXtractor Extension can decrypt any Widevine, PlayReady, or Clearkey DRM-protected video and works across all major browsers and operating systems. It has much more additional features as clearly explained here too!

• API Features:

The KeyXtractor API allows content key extraction via both the methods - ChromeCDM and PlayReady. Users who purchase the API will have access to both DRM schemes without any additional charge.

• No Sole Reliance on ChromeCDM:

The KeyXtractor API and Extension will not depend solely on the ChromeCDM.

• Handling ChromeCDM Revocations:

- If the current ChromeCDM is revoked, there’s no need to worry.
- Both the extension and API now support PlayReady, allowing you to continue extracting keys from nearly all sites where ChromeCDM had advantages, except Netflix. (I am actively working on resolving the Netflix issue via PlayReady and I’m confident a solution will be found soon. Plus, I’m already working on the new ChromeCDM version, so once the current ChromeCDM gets revoked, hopefully there will be a solution for Netflix, whether through PlayReady or the new ChromeCDM.)

I understand there are some rumors going around that I might be scamming people. With the number of scammers out there today, I completely understand why some might feel that way. However, I can assure you that no one has been scammed.

There was an issue on my server's side, and I was waiting for a response from the support team before I could start distributing the files. As a result, some users who paid within the last 4 hours still haven’t received their files, and for that, I sincerely apologize. While waiting for the issue to be resolved, I continued to send payment links to other users. Some people also messaged me from alternative accounts, and since their original accounts didn’t receive a response after payment, they understandably began to suspect something was wrong.

Many of you have been waiting for a Vinetrimmer script that supports our Decrypt Labs - KeyXtractor API, and as promised, it’s now available!

A few things to note:-

• I am not the original creator of this version of the Vinetrimmer script. A user sent me this version and asked if I could add support for the Decrypt Labs - KeyXtractor API. Since the script was up-to-date with a good number of services, I reached out to him and received permission to share it with other users. He confirmed that he is the creator/maintainer of this version of the script.

• This is not an official Decrypt Labs product. It’s simply an accessory that users of our Decrypt Labs - KeyXtractor Pro Plan can benefit from. A comprehensive guide will be provided with instructions on how to install and use it. However, I will not be offering support for any issues related to this script.

• This version uses the ChromeCDM functionality of the Decrypt Labs - KeyXtractor API. It supports a variety of services, including 1080p quality and all profiles from Netflix and Amazon. 🌟 Questions — Answers, Claims — Responses & Updates!

📌 Many people in this channel cannot seem to properly understand what I say. So, let me put all the things simply as below👇

🤔 Questions — Answers: ✅

Q: ChromeCDM is downgraded to SD on Netflix. What is Zane going to do?

• Yes, I am aware of this. There is still a way to get 1080p HPL keys via ChromeCDM, but it would be working only until October 31st. Yes, ChromeCDM version 4.10.2710.0 is set to be revoked on October 31st, 2024.

• I have thought about this a lot and have come to the conclusion that licensing Netflix 1080p via PlayReady is NOT going to be a viable long-term solution for many reasons.

• I am already almost done reversing the ChromeCDM version 4.10.2830.0. There is only one last tricky part left to do. I hope that I can complete this within two weeks! So after that, you will be able to license Netflix 1080p as much as you want again.

• However, do not worry! You will not be left completely in the dark until it is finished.

• I currently have 907,261 Netflix keys in my cached keys vault. There are no duplicates in it, but I am aware there can be some dead keys. Even if there are some, in my honest opinion that many keys should cover most of the content.

• On or after October 31st, a modified Vinetrimmer version that will have the ability to decrypt Netflix 1080p profiles via these keys will be released to all Decrypt Labs - KeyXtractor Pro Plan users. I am sure you will be able to use this while I take care of the new ChromeCDM.

😳 Claims — Responses: 💀

C: Some people are spreading totally false claims, saying Amazon is not working with Decrypt Labs - KeyXtractor PlayReady API.

• This is a totally false claim. Amazon is 100% working with Decrypt Labs - KeyXtractor via PlayReady up to 1080p. (See the screenshot below.)

• A Vinetrimmer version designed to work with Amazon via PlayReady will also be released on or after October 31st for Decrypt Labs - KeyXtractor Pro Plan users.

• Some people also rumour that the PlayReady device I am using inside my API is blacklisted by Amazon. This is also a totally false claim. I have not yet changed the PlayReady device I have been using inside my API even a single time, yet it has not been blacklisted by any service as far as I know. Also, as the end user, you should not even worry about whether it will get blacklisted on Amazon in the future. Even if that gets blacklisted, I have loads of certificates that will work with Amazon. (One of them won't easily get blacklisted by Amazon if you know which one I'm talking about—not the Samsung ones, lol. I'm actually using this one as a test to see how long it will take for the certificate to get blacklisted on at least one service.)

C: Some people on Discord seem to be saying that I have told people on Telegram that Netflix 4K will work with SL2000.

• Never have I ever said such a thing. Amazon 4K might work with quite a few SL2000 devices, and I have told this fact to some people. However, I have not told anyone that Netflix 4K will work with SL2000. Please do not spread false rumours like this.

💫 Updates: ✨

A relatively huge update to the Decrypt Labs - KeyXtractor Extension/API has been made.

🚀 Rewrote the core logic of the Extension

• Some people faced various kinds of issues when running the extension on Linux, macOS, or non-x64 Windows devices. With this new and improved logic, it will work on any platform seamlessly with all three DRM systems—Widevine, PlayReady, and ClearKey.

Ⓜ️ Added support for Max 1080p (kind of)

• Well, you see, I currently have 531,484 Max keys in my cached keys vault (without a single 00000000000000000000000000000000 key!).

• If we assume that generally one Max video has 4 keys, the vault contains 1080p keys of approximately 132,000 Max videos. This number could vary in reality, but I think that is a decent amount of keys for a service like Max.

• From now on, you will get the 1080p key of Max videos if they are available in my vault when you watch a video from Max in a browser that uses Widevine. (See the screenshot below.)

(This feature will also be available for the API users. When you license a Max video, if the 1080p key is available in my vault, it will be returned alongside the other keys!)

➕ Canal+

• As previously mentioned, extracting Canal+ keys via PlayReady through the Decrypt Labs - KeyXtractor Extension/API works as follows:

Canal+ (PL) VOD - 1080p. Even the new system videos will be supported up to 1080p.
Canal+ (PL) Live - 720p. (Same with ChromeCDM and PlayReady)

• Nothing new here. As mentioned above, all Amazon/Prime Video VOD and live content is already working and will continue to work, with PlayReady up to 1080p through both the Extension and the API.
