๐Ÿ”† FOOD FOR THOUGHT ๐Ÿ”†

You are walking down the street in your city or hometown. In looking around you, you can't help noticing that half or more of the people you see are overweight. How do you explain your observation?

4 years ago I was in a job that is paying me well that too on time with a decent leave policy and perks
Job satisfaction was also there since I was is public service
But because I was highly motivated to do even bigger I convinced myself to resign at the beginning of 2020.
However something unexpected happened that the Covid and everything shattered in front of my eyes all plans targets everything seems waste.
And with this ongoing crisis the Subordinates under me were in much more vulnerable situation thn me so I took the call and postponed the resign and did everything to handle the situation better on my ends with my broken heart but my body didn't cooperated and lastly I had to resign and I underwent a surgery
I took me 6 months after my resignation to recover fully from this tragic experience ( for the first time I realized that loosing hope is the biggest failure in life)

Today when I take a view of what happened tht time I feel myself lucky
If I did not have the courage to resign thn I could never realized
That I ws surrounded by poeple with poisonous mind set
The amount of negetivity I ws handling for money
How sensitive I ws and how damaging the environment ws there
I have learnt that poeple play on your insecurities
And you can't notice red flags around you till the time you are feeding those insecurities ye job dobara nhi milegi sab khatam ho jayega blah blah
Trust me if once u hv made it from scratch, you are able to make it again and again with the abilities you have gained
Until unless you are in the post of Prime Minister of india once in a life time opportunity
Don't let anyone cage you in toxicity by playing with your insecurities

I find peace serenity ability to see beyond a normal human being
I hv the confidence that I can build anything and any number of times if I am in a good state of mind

Sometimes the foundations on which we are standing should fall in order to build the stronger once.
And breakthrough requires breakdowns.

๐Ÿ”ด Parents and Us : A Strange Chemical Equation

I am a rebel by nature, so it was natural that I would express my disagreement with the majority of decisions that my parents made for me.

If they wanted me to pursue a career in medicine, I would choose engineering.

If they wanted me to study computer engineering, I would study manufacturing engineering.

If they wanted me to study at a local engineering college, I would choose a college in another state.

If they wanted me to work in the IT sector, I would choose a job in the core sector.

If they wanted me to find a job within the state, I would choose placement in South India.

The bottomline is, the wavelengths of my parents and I never matched.

We had several misunderstandings and differences of opinion.

Sometimes I would think they should have done a better job at parenting me.

But that was the rebel in me speaking.

The rebel, who thought freedom meant going against the current even when it wasn't necessary.

Sometimes, we deliberately go against our parents to build our own identity.

We don't want to live under our parents' shadow.

We want to be the eagle, flying solo.

But, humankind is built for a society.

Who would know this better than us?

I realized this much later.

And as a symbol of tribute, I created a username dedicated to my parents.

As an act of gratitude and repentance of all the times when I raised my voice against them.

This username was Vinzvar.

It's a combination of my parents' names (Vinita โค๏ธ Vardan).

I hope my story inspires you to mend your broken bridges with your parents.

Once they are gone, the regret to not be able to share your love with them scars your soul forever.

Let this not be the case with you.

With this account, I wish you a Happy Monday.

Love always โค๏ธ

OPINION | Economic history has long been chronicled through a male lens, emphasising the contributions of men and their viewpoints. Just look at the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences. It has been awarded to 90 men since 1969 โ€” and just three women. The first, Elinor Ostrom, won in 2009 for explaining how local communities, most of them in developing countries, govern themselves. The second, Esther Duflo, won in 2019, for her experimental work in alleviating global poverty. Claudia Goldin was the third woman awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2023 for her work explaining why women earn less money than men even when they do the same work. https://epaper.thehindu.com/ccidist-ws/th/th_delhi/issues/57360/OPS/G3JBUEC0O.1+GDPBUF8AT.1.html
