Guys it's 1:30 PM and on election result day suprisingly found Justice Ganguly (Former judge) Calcutta High court, BJP candidate sipping coffee with us in CP coffee house.

Total sign he accepted defeat. May be two year more on bench would have been more better for him instead of resignation. 😂

Very important article for any question related to right to Property. If you remember the word 'compensation' was repalced by 'amount' so that actual value of property is not given, when state acquires it.

The recent decision of the Supreme Court in Kolkata Municipal Corporation has
fleshed out seven di!erent facets which are protected under Article 300-A. These
are: The right to notice; the right to be heard; the right to a reasoned decision; the
duty to acquire only for public purpose; the right of restitution or fair
compensation; the right to an e"cient and expeditious process; the right of
conclusion.
The Court has concluded that the absence of even one of these features would
render the law susceptible to challenge. The right to restitution or fair
compensation judicially a"rms the position prevailing when the unamended
Article 31 was in force, and the interpretation expounded in the Bela Banerjee
case on the aspect of payment of compensation. A person deprived of land by the
state in the exercise of its power of eminent domain is entitled to be paid
compensation which is just and reasonabl

Hello Everyone, Hopefully your prelims was very good. I think paper was good, those who had done pyq and ncert would have attempted all.

If you are clearing prelims then after a day or two of rest start with mains.

Don't join any test series for now, if you are on boarderline, if you are confident then join tests and start preparing.

How judge read religious practice as a part of privacy rights is quite interesting. It turned the essential practice doctrine on its head.
