🔍 Google will soon unveil a cryptocurrency protection system against hacks and theft — technology Multi-Party Compute splits wallet private keys among several secure systems, so that attackers cannot steal funds by compromising one of them.

Alphabet already uses it to protect assets on Ethereum and Solana, and commercial launch is scheduled for early 2027.

💸 Michael Saylor's Strategy has come up with a new way to attract money for BTC purchases — shareholders approved daily dividend accrual on preferred shares, which the company sells to investors to buy BTC.

The main problem is that these securities trade below their nominal value of $100 even with a yield of 12% annually, so Strategy expects to regain interest in them and resume large-scale coin purchases.

🪙 Monero privacy was threatened due to a leak from the crypto exchange Wagyu, hackers obtained data on 38,628 exchanges and over 10,000 IP addresses — some records allow linking crypto transactions to Monero wallets and user IPs, although XMR's protection itself was not compromised.

Hackers demanded $5 mln for not disclosing the data, but after the exchange refused, they published it.

Attackers injected malicious code through the third-party service DebugBear and withdrew funds in more than 900 transactions, one of the traders reported a loss of $800,000.

The company's founders announced the vulnerability has been fixed and promised to fully compensate the victims for their losses.

🪙 Michael Saylor's company Strategy reported $19.5 billion in net profit for Q3 2026 — almost the entire amount is related to the accounting revaluation of BTC, while the core software business brought in only $125.4 million in revenue.
