🇮🇳 India tightens control over crypto traders — tax authorities are sending out notices regarding undeclared income from past years.

This refers to a review of declarations (primarily for the years 2021–22) based on automated calculations, which do not always reflect actual profit.

In case of discrepancies, traders will have to pay fines.

🗽 SEC promotes a "safe harbor" initiative for crypto projects — the proposal has already been submitted to the White House for final review.

The document will allow startups to raise capital without immediate registration, but with mandatory disclosures and investor protection.

🪙 Strategy continues to buy Bitcoin, but at the same time the company has already accumulated a paper loss of more than $14.5 billion for the quarter — despite constant purchases, BTC is trading below their average entry price, which keeps performance weak.

This puts pressure on the company — shares are not growing, and the strategy has not yet brought the expected effect.

🇷🇺 The Government of the Russian Federation has introduced a bill that equates cryptocurrency to foreign currency values and introduces currency control rules for it.

From July 1st, Russians will have to notify the Federal Tax Service about foreign wallets and report on transactions, and transactions between residents will be severely restricted.

At the same time, opening foreign wallets is not prohibited, but liability for violations is not yet specified — this will probably be added later.

🚓 In Moscow, the former deputy head of Butyrka pre-trial detention center was sentenced to almost 3 years of compulsory labor for organizing mining directly in the psychiatric hospital at the detention center — he, together with an engineer, launched a farm using the institution's electricity, causing damage.

In the end, both received sentences and are obliged to compensate for the damages incurred.

⛽️ Bitcoin network fees are currently at their lowest — such values haven't been seen for almost 15 years.

This means that people are using the network less (fewer transactions and less activity). This is usually considered a negative signal for the market — implying that interest in BTC is falling, but this does not guarantee a price drop.

🇮🇷 Donald Trump stated that the coming night could become a turning point for Iran: according to him, the current regime has effectively fallen, and the country could be led by "less radical" forces.

He called what is happening the end of "47 years of corruption and extortion" and hinted that a new chapter in Iran's history could begin as early as today.

🇰🇿 In Kazakhstan, the investigation into the NBC TV financial pyramid, which promised up to 10% profit per day allegedly for watching movie trailers, has been completed — the investigation revealed that new participants' money was converted into cryptocurrency via P2P platforms, after which law enforcement officers seized over 1,000,000 USDT.

According to the authorities, the organizers attracted people through the internet and messengers, and the entire scheme worked only due to new deposits — a classic pyramid disguised as "investments."

🇺🇸 According to information from the FBI, in 2025 Americans lost $11.36 billion to crypto scams — 22% more than the previous year.

Fake "investments" caused the most damage, and almost 40% of all losses affected people over 60.

Separately, the number of AI-powered scams sharply increased: over 22,000 such complaints and almost $900 million in damages were registered during the year.
