I've been running DCA bots on 4 for over 8 months already. My latest setup runs for 3.5 months nad is returning an unlevered APY of 55%!

The return comes from volatility, not from where silver goes for the year. And it earns that even though silver only trades ~40 hours a week — you can see the chart flatline every time markets close.
This one kicks off a new category I've wanted to post for a while: RWA — real-world asset — DCA bots. Here's why I'm excited about them.
Grids and DCAs live on volatility, but they need one more thing to survive: a floor. Big swings are great — as long as the thing can't just fall forever.
Crypto gives you the swings but not the floor. Most tokens have no cash flow underneath, so price is pure sentiment — it can go -90%, then another -90%. Even Bitcoin routinely draws down 50%. And one bad day like Oct 10 takes everything down 30-50% at once. Run leverage into that and you're liquidated.
Real-world assets — stocks especially — are a different animal. A stock is a claim on real cash flow, so at some point it's simply too cheap to keep falling. That's a natural bottom crypto doesn't have. Equities draw down too; the S&P can fall 50%. But once every 20 years, not every 20 days.
And they don't all crash together. No equity market wipes out across the board in a single day the way crypto did on Oct 10.
That's the unlock for a bot portfolio. Real floors plus low correlation mean you can run leverage and actually survive it — and use your capital far more efficiently. I run my CEX bots cross-margin at 10x, but with diversification, some in, some out, some flat, effective leverage sits well below that.
Lower volatility than crypto isn't free. But drawdowns are what kill a levered bot, and RWAs draw down far less often — so the net risk-reward comes out better, not worse.
Silver's a good place to start: volatile, but a real, established asset — not a full cash-flow floor like a stock, but nothing like a fresh token either. Because I actually understand what moves it — supply, demand, its history — I can form a real view and run hotter settings than I ever would on crypto. Heads up: these settings are much more aggressive than my usual crypto DCAs.
Honest note: absolute profit here is tiny (~$7). This was one of my first RWA tests, so I ran it small. Now that I've got a feel for the risk-reward, I'm relaunching it with real size.
