West Ham United have reached an agreement in principle to sign winger Manor Solomon from Tottenham Hotspur.

The Athletic reported that talks between the clubs were on hold for financial reasons, with West Ham not willing to agree to the bonuses Spurs were asking for if West Ham were to achieve promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

However, the two teams have now reached an agreement in principle on a deal for the Israel international that includes a £5million transfer fee plus £2m in potential add-ons.

The deal would also include a 10 per cent sell-on clause.

Barcelona captain Ronald Araujo is due to fly to Liverpool on Sunday to complete a move to the Premier League club.

The 27-year-old Uruguay international centre-back is expected to join on a season-long loan deal that also includes Liverpool having a €55million option to buy him.

Everton are in talks to sign Brennan Johnson from Crystal Palace in a deal that could see Dwight McNeil move to Selhurst Park.

Johnson, 25, only joined Palace from Tottenham Hotspur in January, while McNeil, 26, has been at Everton since the summer of 2022.

McNeil was close to a move to Palace in the winter transfer window, before the transfer fell through due to the relevant paperwork not being completed on time.

Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of Lucas Digne from #AVFC. PSG triggered release clause last month, with Villa seeking LB replacement immediately.

Aston Villa are in talks to appoint Pal Fjelde from Burnley as their new set piece coach.

If a deal is finalised, Fjelde will replace Austin MacPhee, who decided to leave Villa for Chelsea last month.

Fjelde joined Burnley last year and has also been his home country of Norway’s set piece coach since June 2022.

Swansea City have turned down a bid from PL club Hull City for Zan Vipotnik, the Championship's top scorer last season. Hull's offer fell short of Swansea's valuation for the 24-year-old striker. The Slovenian scored 23 league goals in the 25-26 campaign.

Crystal Palace are finalizing the signing of American winger Zavier Gozo from Real Salt Lake.

Sources said Gozo was in London on Monday to undergo a medical with Palace and complete the paperwork for his move.

Palace and Real Salt Lake have reached an agreement worth around $15 million (£11 million) for Gozo, allowing the 19-year-old to travel to the UK.

It’s a new club-record for the MLS cub, sources say.

Chelsea are close to finalising a deal for 16-year-old LA Galaxy midfielder Vicente Garcia.

Sources briefed on discussions said a deal was in place for Garcia to join Chelsea when he turns 18 in the summer of 2028, with the fee expected to be worth in the region of $3m (£2.25m) plus add-ons.

Paul Pogba is set to leave Monaco by mutual agreement midway through his two-year contract, having made just six appearances for the club.

Pogba sustained a muscular injury setback for Monaco on Tuesday, but the club’s talks over the mutual termination of his contract have been ongoing for several weeks.

Evann Guessand is close to rejoining Crystal Palace on a season-long loan deal from Aston Villa.

The forward has not travelled with Villa’s squad for Wednesday’s Super Cup against Paris Saint-Germain, and while a move has not yet been completed, both clubs intend to finalise an agreement.
