What is a #collocation ?🧐

A collocation is a pair or group of words that naturally go together, such as "make a decision" or "heavy rain". Using the right collocation makes your English sound natural to a native speaker.

Why are #collocations important for learners?🤨

Native speakers use language in fixed chunks, so the right word partnerships make your writing read smoothly. Learning a word with its common partners helps you use it correctly and remember it longer.

Robert is my neighbor. He ____ next door to me for five years.

has lived
has been living

🔹 He has lived next door to me for five years.

🔹 He has been living next door to me for five years.

I've lived here for ten years.
I've been living here for ten years.

"I've lived in this house my whole life."

"I've been studying for five hours!"

I've studied for five hours، فقط یک گزارش خشک و خالی داده‌اید.
