it is wrong to close your options just because you like someone and you are hoping they will like you back

It is an emotion people feel towards

those they respect and value

If they are showing interest in others

while they are in your life, you stop

giving them that your undivided attention

When you show excessive interest in someone, it is like you begging that person to pay attention to you
