This Friday, December 9th, STM has remained one of the most searched subjects on the web. In summary, due to the news that the Military Court has accepted a representation against the STF minister, Alexandre de Moraes, which may result in his arrest.
The STM has more than 200 years of existence, coming from the Armed Forces themselves. In addition, it is worth mentioning that the Court has its headquarters in Brasilia and jurisdiction throughout the national territory. Finally, the Superior Military Court is composed of fifteen ministers, in which they are appointed by the President of the Republic and approved by the Senate.
What are the competences of the STM
According to Art. 124 of the 1988 Federal Constitution, it is the responsibility of the Superior Military Court to judge “ the military crimes provided for in the Military Penal Code ( CPM ), having as main jurisdictions the military of the Armed Forces and, in certain cases, even civilians ” ( STM, s.d. ).
In addition, it is worth noting that it is the responsibility of the STM to process and prosecute military crimes defined in the referred law, which, “ invoked by Lex Magna, is the Military Penal Code promulgated in 1969 ” ( ROCHA, 2008 ), in which articles 9 and 10 deal with military crimes both in times of peace and war.

In conclusion, it is worth mentioning that, among the fifteen seats in the body of STM ministers, ten are offered to military personnel who have an active career and occupy a high position. Finally, the remaining five ministers who make up the Military Court are selected from civilians who have more than ten years of professional activity: three seats are reserved for lawyers with notorious legal knowledge, one is aimed at an auditor and one belongs to a member who is a member of the Military Public Ministry.

There were many instances of pro-Biden tweets that warned Trump “may try to steal the election.” All of these anti-Trump tweets were approved by senior executives.
On January 6th, Trump tweeted to his supporters that they should “Go home with love & in peace.” His tweet did not go over well with the Twitter’s executives.
