Barry, one of Matt's two dads, once appeared on Good Day Oregon as the owner of the cafe in northwest Portland, Bethany Village Centre.

The cafe shut down, which taught young Matt a valuable lesson about managing a business. He learned that you got to run away with cash while you still can.

The cookies look good though.
