团结政府秘书处在联合声明中表示,该决定是在5月8日(星期四)由希盟主席兼人民公正党主席拿督斯里安华与国阵主席兼巫统主席拿督斯里阿末扎希举行高层会议后达成的。
声明指出,两位领导人已就州选合作达成共识。
