This was a petition letter me and some friends wrote to AASTU. We were requesting them to open a computer science department.
Years later, I'm so glad they didn't.
A CS degree in Ethiopia is almost meaningless. You don't learn actual computer science, nor is your degree as valuable.

To not bring doom on all CS students. You should know that most startups understand what I said and they consider your CS degree for a SE one. So chill. But if you're in a position of choosing, choose Software Engineering.

So I just finished teaching Web Basics and HTML to my students and they've talked to an amazing guest. Now I'm teaching CSS
So I just accepted a student who persistently asked to join the class. She said she would learn from the recorded classes and catch up. And she did and now enrolled with the normal class.
If there's anyone who is interested in doing that, confident enough to try to catch up. We're all open for you. We'll continue off from CSS, then off to JavaScript and have 3 more amazing guests joining us.
