Sam Altman was removed from being the CEO and also from board of directors of OpenAI

Grek Brockman will also be stepping down from being the chairman of the board.

The board said that Sam was not consistently candid in his communications with them.

Mira Murati, the company’s CTO will serve as interim CEO, effective immediately until a new permanent CEO can be found.

Even OpenAI employees are caught by surprise over the news.

I actually love Sam and I think they're making a huge mistake. The dude literally embodied AI theories and more. I wish he had shares so he would fund his own thing.
