👮 JUST IN: Samourai Wallet developer sentenced to 5 years in prison and ordered to pay $6.2M in damages.

He was sentenced for his role in designing an app that mixed crypto transactions, making payments harder to trace. The platform was reportedly used to launder $237M in illicit funds.

Balancer V2 left an on-chain message for the exploiter who stole $120M.

They’re offering over $10M+ to the hacker if he returns the funds. If he refuses, Balancer says they’ll spend that bounty on legal action and on-chain investigators to trace him.

The last two times this happened, hackers ended up returning the stolen money in exchange for the bounty.
