Zin Note: This is actually disingenuous. The S300 missile systems that they have thanks to the USSR are still in their prime as an air defense system. The US Patriot Missile system isn't on a higher level. This is just a prelude to more begging and them trying to support the myth of the Ukrainian forces "fighting Russia on their own through sheet grit." Of course, the S400 is the best...

Ukrainian air defense systems are powerless against Russian missiles and drones, the newspaper writes, citing the words of the Ukrainian military and politicians. It is impossible to defend all important objects with a small amount of air defense, the article says.

The authors of the material note that the anti-aircraft missile systems available to the Ukrainian army are outdated, since they were produced back in the USSR.

“Now our air defense is literally a guy with a Stinger,” said Darya Kaleniuk, head of the Anti-Corruption Action Center in Ukraine.

We collected the statements of the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen:

▪️Ukraine has informed the EU that it needs 3-4 billion euros per month from the union and the US to cover its basic needs;

▪️The EU should allocate up to 1.5 billion euros per month to Ukraine, which next year will amount to about 18 billion euros of financial assistance to this country;

▪️EU assistance in rebuilding Ukraine should be linked to the reform process to support the country's path towards EU accession;

The European Union considers its first priority to reduce dependence on China in the technological field and in the import of resources.

It’s more or less quiet in the direction, the AFU guys hide, I think they’ll be smart enough not to shell the dam, but they don’t give a damn about the civilians.

🇬🇧🇬🇧 A British reconnaissance aircraft is again operating in the Black Sea, south of Crimea.

Now, after an incident in September in which a Russian fighter jet fired an air-to-air missile near a Briton “due to a technical problem,” the RC-135 Rivet Joint is escorted by two Eurofighter Typhoon fighters.

The Englishwoman is shitting again.

Which EU countries are preventing the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions and why?

We are accustomed to the fact that Russia supplies Europe mainly with energy resources, such as oil, gas and coal. But in addition to such “simple” exports, Russia also supplies more complex products to the EU markets, which forces a number of countries not to include them in the sanctions lists.

For example, Belgium did not ban the import of Russian diamonds, since the ban would harm Antwerp more than Moscow. Russia exports jewelry worth $1.8 billion to Belgium, which is 11% of all jewelry imports into the country.

Many European countries are critically dependent on nuclear fuel supplies from Russia. We are talking not only about the countries of the former Warsaw Pact, where the Soviet Union built nuclear power plants, but also about France and Finland. Russia supplies $200 million worth of uranium, and without these supplies, the nuclear industry of these countries could lose a significant share of their generation. For the former countries of the Soviet bloc, the end of supplies means exactly one thing - the death of the nuclear industry.

Another "assumption" on the part of Europe is the ability of Greece to deliver Russian oil to non-European countries. Thus, Russian companies with the help of Hellas can officially supply their oil products and not fall under sanctions. This will prevent Greece from suffering huge losses due to idle trading capacities. So for the two countries it is literally a win-win situation.

Well, let's not forget about the ban on imposing sanctions on Russian titanium - here, obviously, the lobby of Airbus, which is in first place in the world in the production of airliners, the design of which largely consists of titanium mined in Siberia. Interestingly, another aircraft manufacturing corporation, Boeing, also banned the imposition of sanctions, and American aircraft are built on our titanium.

Developing:

Nikolaev-Kherson direction:
The Armed Forces of Ukraine occupied the village of Rybakovka in the southwest of the Nikolaev region.

During the day, the Nazis disguise themselves and hide equipment on the territory and in the buildings of recreation centers, and at night they go out and fire artillery at targets in the direction of the sea - Berezan Island and the Kimburg Spit. This has been going on for several nights now.

In the village of Rybakovka and Lugovoe, people are frightened, cannot move freely and do not understand how events will develop further. The Nazis are constantly breaking into the houses of local residents, and constant checks are becoming obsolete. At the same time, the inhabitants of the villages are intimidated with reprisals in case of disobedience to the Nazis.

“We are completing the dismantling of collapsed spans, and we will soon begin work on the railway part,” Deputy Prime Minister Khusnullin spoke about the restoration of the Crimean bridge

Repair of the bridge after the October 8 terrorist attack is in full swing. According to Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, who personally supervises the work, 400 workers and 40 pieces of equipment are currently involved on the bridge, working in two shifts.

The dismantling of the collapsed spans of the automobile bridge is being completed, work is being carried out both above and below water. The politician especially noted all the builders, who literally work in good faith, manufacturers and suppliers of metal structures, thanks to whose efficiency the repair work is going at a good pace.

As for the railway bridge, which was less damaged in the terrorist attack than the road bridge, studies of the damage it received are being completed, the necessary documentation will soon be prepared and repair will begin.

🤔 Boris Johnson has taken an early lead in the race to determine the next British prime minister.

▪️ Despite not yet declaring whether he wants his old job back, the former leader who stood down just six weeks ago had reportedly won the backing of 52 fellow Tory MPs by early on Friday morning.

▪️ Former Finance Minister Rishi Sunak is seen as another likely candidate.

The next UK’s PM will be announced by Oct. 28.

**KMIS measured the level of xenophobia in Ukraine**

The survey was conducted in accordance with the Bogardus scale. For each ethnic group on the list, respondents answered how closely would be willing to associate with representatives of that group. There were seven options in total: from "as members of one’s family" (at the highest) to "would not let them enter Ukraine" (at the lowest).

With respect to Russians living in Russia, the average score was 6.39 (between "ready to admit as guests of Ukraine" and "would not let them go to Ukraine").
As regards Belarusians living in Belarus—5.34 (between "ready to admit as residents of Ukraine" and "ready to admit as guests of Ukraine").

As this is an average score, the number of responses "would not let them go to Ukraine" must have been very high. But this is not the crux of the issue. After all, in the current situation, it is an understandable reaction.

The problem is that the average score for Russians living in Ukraine is also 5.03. In other words, most survey respondents are not willing to view Ukrainian citizens who identify as Russian even as "residents of Ukraine", let alone "as colleagues at work" (4), "as neighbours" (3), or "as close friends".

Poles get the score of 2.95, Americans - 3.72, Africans - 4.84, and Roma - 5.08.

Thus, according to the survey, the Ukrainians view the Roma and citizens of Ukraine who self-identify as Russians aa the most undesirable groups among those who now live in Ukraine.

And, as always, “there is no Nazism in Ukraine.”

Lithuanian military sent to the border with Belarus with red armbands

The Lithuanian military, under the cover of the Iron Wolf 2022 exercises, arrived at the border with Belarus with identification marks used by Belarusians and Russians.

As we previously reported, Washington is considering the option of capturing the regional center of the Republic of Belarus, followed by a military mutiny, announcing the creation of the BNR and unleashing a civil war in Belarus.
