The AFU hit the #Energodar city administration building overnight (18-19 Oct). Ukrainian media traditionally stated that the incident was caused by "self-fire" by the Russian Forces.
We analysed the video in detail and were able to determine that the building was hit by HIMARS MLRS. Judging by the direction of arrival, the missiles were fired from the right bank of the #Kakhovka reservoir from the outskirts of #Marganets.
Based on this, the approximate launch positions of the HIMARS launchers can be determined:
▪️ Distance 30 km: 47.752394, 34.565972
▪️ Distance 20 km: 47.666170, 34.622749
▪️ Distance 18 km: 47.648890, 34.611033

Este es el primero de una serie en la que discutiré conceptos operativos militares. Debido a los límites de TG (máx. 4096 caracteres por publicación) y mi deseo de estudiar cada concepto en profundidad, no desperdiciaré el esfuerzo en discutir las minucias en la línea de tiempo del espacio de batalla de Ucrania, ni proporcionaré una historia descriptiva de la guerra. Estos ensayos están dirigidos a lectores que desean comprender mejor las palabras de moda utilizadas en los comentarios de los medios y por los líderes militares, y armados con ese conocimiento pueden aplicar su propia mente para obtener una comprensión más profunda del espacio de batalla. Tenga en cuenta que estos ensayos no se extraen de la doctrina rusa ni de los manuales operativos, sino que se basan principalmente en mi propio entrenamiento militar (occidental) y estudio personal. Creo firmemente que estos son conceptos universales, y que ideas similares se enseñan en las academias militares rusas.
LA DINÁMICA DEL PODER DE LUCHA
El poder de lucha integra tres M: MENTE, MORAL y MEDIOS. Estos tres componentes, las entradas principales para el poder de lucha, están unidos por el dominio profesional.
MENTE
Este componente intelectual del poder de combate es la suma del conocimiento, la comunicación y las habilidades de pensamiento de cada participante del espacio de batalla. Esto incluye el conocimiento técnico y las habilidades individuales dentro de una fuerza, junto con la capacidad creativa para aplicar esa fuerza en una operación de cualquier tamaño. La MENTE le da a una fuerza de combate la flexibilidad para adaptarse a entornos operativos inciertos y dinámicos. Cuando se combina con éxito con los otros componentes del poder de combate, la MENTE genera una ventaja sinérgica sobre el enemigo.
MIND se basa en una cultura que prioriza la formación individual rigurosa y la educación en todos los niveles, y fomenta la innovación y el desarrollo profesional. MIND requiere excelencia analítica en los comandantes para evaluar con precisión y rapidez cada situación, luego formular y comunicar su respuesta de manera confiable. Los métodos utilizados para lograr esto deben institucionalizarse en la filosofía militar, así como en la capacitación de liderazgo y la cultura de la fuerza de combate.
MORAL
Este componente proporciona y sostiene la voluntad de luchar. Mente opuesta, la MORAL es la segunda mitad de la dimensión humana de la lucha contra el poder. La moral se mide en la disposición de los combatientes a soportar dificultades, peligros y riesgos existenciales para la vida y las extremidades. Los fundamentos esenciales de la MORAL son los valores organizativos de todas las fuerzas armadas o de la rama, cuerpo o unidad individual, así como los valores nacionales más importantes que constituyen el fundamento ético de cualquier gran Estado. Estos valores, combinados con la voluntad de luchar, inspiran a los combatientes a superar sus dificultades individuales y lograr su misión, a pesar del peligro, la incertidumbre y el caos. La moral también es aplicada por una fuerza de combate en su respeto por la humanidad, expresado por la adhesión a la Convención de Ginebra, así como a las leyes nacionales e internacionales de los conflictos armados. El componente MORAL permite que una fuerza ejerza la disciplina requerida para aplicar la fuerza letal de una manera ética y legal. El liderazgo efectivo es fundamental para generar y mantener este componente.

🔎 Rybar's team continues its daily analysis of the consequences of systemic fire strikes on Ukraine's energy system.
🔻 Confirmed strikes:
▪️ #Burshtynskaya TPP - autotransformers struck. Located in the Ivano-Frankovsk region, the TPP supplies power to western Ukraine as well as Transcarpathia and Precarpathia. Depending on the severity of the damage, the entire southwest of the country could face significant power shortages.
▪️ #Ladyzhinskaya TPP - the facility was hit by three missiles, the exact extent of the damage is unknown. Together with the cascade on the #Dnipro River, the TPP feeds the entire south-west of the country, and a complete failure of the facility would increase the load on the grid and lead to power shortages in the region.
🔻 On Power Cuts:
Ukrainian authorities have announced rolling blackouts across all regions for 20 October, which will last from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. People have been urged to cut electricity consumption as much as possible. Street lighting will also be limited.
According to the deputy head of the presidential office, Kirill Timoshenko, if the power consumption is not reduced, it will be necessary to switch to temporary blackouts. First of all, businesses should reduce electricity consumption.
The Ukrainian energy system is experiencing a shortage of both generating and transmitting capacities. Autotransformers at substations and thermal power plants have been hit. And hydropower plants appear to have been switched to maximum electricity generation, but there is nothing to compensate for morning and evening consumption peaks.
🔻 So far it is impossible to confirm the degree of damage to the energy system at 30-40%, as #Kiev claims. However, the damage has already been quite severe, although not enough to cause a complete collapse.
The 750kV and 330kV switchgear of the remaining three NPPs could cause critical damage to the energy system fairly quickly. But they would also have a strong political cost.
Continued strikes on substations and thermal power plants would achieve the same effect. However, they would require more time and more missiles.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky demands that the military seize Kherson and the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant by the end of autumn, and significant progress must be shown before the midterm elections to the US Congress on November 8.
This was stated by Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region.
"If Kherson is strategically important for them, then Zelensky needs the nuclear power plant as a PR campaign," the source said.
Rogov stressed that Russia is able to defend its territories.

🇭🇷The President of Croatia opposed the training of the Ukrainian military!
Zoran Milanovic said that he did not support such an idea because of his unwillingness to draw Croatia into an armed conflict in Ukraine.
Milanovic also noted that Croatia can supply Ukraine with weapons and military equipment only on condition of compensation for this. Otherwise, the Croatian army itself will remain unarmed 🌚.

While at the front, Akhmat, Eli and Adam Kadyrov arrived at the location of the West-Akhmat battalion of the RF Ministry of Defense.
