We have already put some EPYC nodes in production, please feel free to send us a ticket if you want to migrate VM to this node.
Few things you need to know:
- EPYC has higher frequency and RAM frequency.
- These nodes are using AMD EYPC processor; You have to back up your data to avoid any fault before we migrate your VM from Intel E5 / Gold to AMD EPYC platform.
- This is a Beta Platform. These nodes were put into production this week. DMIT cannot offer any SLA for the VM in this node until June 20, 2020.
- It’s not recommended to send this request, if you run an important service. We expect that there will be hundreds of requests; we cannot help you in time, if there is something wrong

The latency from DMIT LAX datacenter to SHA and CAN has lower down to normal; The network latency is still under monitoring. NOC updates here once we get final confirmation.

How to resolve: STOP and BOOT your VM.

In the HKG datacenter, there were some legacy guests VM without IOPS limitation. These VMs used too much IOPS abnormally, which leads to the ZFS filesystem has no respond. This fault makes QEMU get into pause status.
We already move these VM out and update the disk configuration.

There is an architecture upgrade for HKG at late Q3, 2020;

After investigation, there is nothing wrong with the LAX datacenter. If your VM has no response, please check the global accessibility first. It probably is blocked by a local firewall.
