One of node in HKG has hardware failure; migrating all VMs in affcted node to other nodes.
All affcted VMs will be started in sequential.

Observed CN2 AS4809 has huge packet loss, traffic drop.

Cooperating with CTG NOC.
China Telecom confirmed that

we are not seeing these high traffic towards your circuit.

We were seeing there are high amount of malicious traffic traversed CN2 network towards our customer in US, caused congestion in our network.  Hence, this caused the packet loss issue you were observing. As these malicious traffic caused by scattered source, our system had taken needful measures once detected. We will keep enhancing our systems with our engineers in order to reduce impacts to our customers.

Case closed and DMIT finally received awarded funds for corresponding legal action fee and the interests for CUA's late payment to us.. The process illustrates that DMIT did not violate the contract while not owing CUA any.

We will try to keep the downtime happens at ngith / off-peak hours.
