I built cronocular (cron + ocular) to help developers follow the 20-20-20 eye care rule right from the terminal.

What it does:

- counts down 20 minutes in the background, then sends a desktop notification to rest your eyes.

- counts down 20 seconds, then plays a loud beep through your your speaker (headphones if connected) so you know when to go back to work without looking at the screen to check.

- features a minimal, keyboard-controlled TUI (Pause/Resume/Quit).

- works perfectly on linux, macos, and windows.

Was looking at speed ramping and it looks cool I ain't Gon lie

I finished my preparation with the j cut (all the 8 cuts) masking speed animations key frames easing color grading and all but they say 50% of the video is the sound unless it doesn't feel natural so that's what I'm going to do for another idk weeks or so just master everything out of it ... The sound hashira mode is on😁🔥

I'm not about to share my practice works here cuz they're practice ya feel me

And I experimented on a lot of techniques and ideas that my PC started looking at me like I'm a criminal

One thing is experiment with what you have :) and experiment deeply until you understand what's needed from you

Last but not least watching YouTube videos on video edit competitions really helps imo

The editors comments and the creativity out there is genuinely mind blowing and tells you your place 😂

Don't be kind to yourself judge yourself harshly until you feel good with what you did and perfected it or so :)
