وانت بتعمل access cavity فى كل ال anterior teeth بيبقى فيه lingual shoulder لازم تشيله 👍
⏺ ال lingual shoulder ده عبارة عن dentin ledge ممتد من منطقة ال cingulum لغاية ٢ مللى داخل ال canal 🤝
⏺ لازم نشيله علشان كذا سبب:👇
١- من غير الخطوة دي مش هنقدر نحقق ال straight line access واللى من غيره هيحصل معاك errors كتيرة جدا وانت بتعمل canal preparation
٢- ممكن يكون مخبى تحته hidden canals واللى مش هنكتشفها الا لما نشيله والموضوع ده بالذات فى ال lower anteriors
٣- ممكن يكون مخبى تحته infected materials &pulp tissue remnants واللى ممكن تكون سبب فى ال root canal failure بعد كده او على الاقل سبب فى ال dark crown discolouration
⏺ بنشيل ال lingual shoulder باستخدام gates glidden drills او low speed long shank burs فى ال lingual wall👌

Use : to refine the preparation .

3- Endodontic spoon excavator : 

Use : curettage of the pulp chamber .. larger than conventional one ..

4- barbed broach :

Use :

- used to remove the intact pulp

- loosen debris in necrotic canal

5- K-reamers :

Use : in shaping the canal ..

#Action : O'clock wise quarter -turn twist ..

6- K-Files :

Use :  in canal shaping .. more flexible than reamers .

#Action : O'clock wise / 1/2 turn twist .

7- H-Files :

Use : highly efficient in removing dentin ..

8- gates-glidden drills :

Use :

- preparing the coronal 2/3 of molar canals ..

- removing gatta-percha from the canal during post space preparation or retreatment ..

9- peeso-reamers :

Use : removing gatta-percha from the canal during post space preparation or retreatment ..

10- disposable irrigating syringe :

Use : canal cleaning & irrigation

11- endo ruler :

Use : measure the length of hand instruments ..

12-  paper point :

Use :

-  to resorb any moiture in the canal ( blood - pus - saliva )

- to carry medicaments into the canal ..

13- gatta-percha cones :

Use : root canal filling material

Use : condensation of GP during obturation ..
