🚨 To Mains 2025 Aspirants — A Serious Wake-Up Call

Don’t waste your precious 65 days, money & attempt by falling for FOMO or marketing gimmicks.
One wrong choice = two full years down the drain.

Here’s how to spot scammy platforms/people :

AI-generated thumbnails and loud fear-mongering hooks like “Join or Regret Forever”

Testimonials from 2–3 years ago (Rank holders who have no link with current content)

Vague “Rank X” marketing without subject-wise score disclosure
(e.g., PSIR crash course by misunderstand upsc under rank '"xy" Guidance, hiding the fact that "xy" himself scored only in 250s)

Another example-
Essay Course advertised by shubra ma'am using big rank names (like Rank 1) without revealing that shakti dubey scored only 100 in that Essay paper.

Telegram page owners using fake “insider info” to grow followers and sell BS
(e.g., ghayal, robot, SOMP, xyIAS etc.) Inse ekdum doooooor.
---

SO WHAT ACTUALLY WORKS?

pyq brainstorming, multiple revisions of your own short notes, hell of a writing practice under pressure and peer discussion.

And if you really want to join--

🔹 GS Test Series — Stick to reputed names like Vision, Forum
🔹 Optional Test Series — Go to subject experts like Shubhra Ma’am (PSIR), Karandeep Sir (Anthro), Level Up (Socio) etc
🔹 Mentorship — ONLY if it's 1-on-1 under real top scorers or comes via trusted veterans & peers word of mouth feedback.. No herd joining.

Avoid paid test series from TextIAS, VijayRam, StudyQI, SrthIAS, Chunya IAS, ellenias etc.
Their checking = trash.
You’ll end up more confused than before.

👉 Instead Use their model answers (freely available) for practice, not their paid tests.

Be smart. This exam rewards clarity & practice, not chaos.

⚠️ Gentle Reminder for Mains 2025 Aspirants

No single paper will get you in.
But ignoring even one — especially Essay — can surely keep you out.

Optional scores are expected to be capped around ~250 this year, to give more and more weightage for the Interview score.

At this stage, your focus must be clear:
✔️ Secure average marks atleast across all 7 papers to clear the mains barrier, because alot will be altered at the PT stage.

You can lose 60–70 marks in just one essay paper. Don’t make that mistake by ignoring it . Because increasing GS + optional marks after a certain stage is nearly impossible.

Good luck 🍀

🚨 Attention PSIR Mains 2025 Candidates!

Most aspirants saw their PSIR marks fall last year — some even from 260 ➡️ 220.

But she did the opposite: 264 in 2023 ➡️ 299 in 2024.

On requests from many aspirants, Damanpreet Arora — PSIR Topper, CSE 2024 (AIR 103) has agreed to guide candidates at this crucial juncture through our PSIR Mock Simulator Tests (Paper 1 & 2).

"How did your optional perform in Mains 2025?"
"What went wrong?"
"Is the unpredictability of this exam even worth another try?"

I know many of you who couldn’t clear Mains this time must be asking yourselves these questions — battling self-doubt, confusion, and fatigue. But believe me, these thoughts serve no purpose right now. Whatever happened, let it go. Take a pause, breathe, and move forward.

Reaching this stage itself is a mark of exceptional grit — you’re already among the top few who dared to dream and fight for it.

If you truly aspire to serve this nation — as a bureaucrat or diplomat — remember this: perseverance is the one quality that separates success from surrender.

Take a week’s break. Reflect with a calm mind. Then rise again — stronger, wiser, and hungrier than before.

Good luck. The journey isn’t over — it’s just being rewritten. 🌿

To those who cleared Mains —
Remember, you’re still standing outside the final gate.
Give this one last, all-out push to achieve what you’ve always aspired for.

Don’t take the Personality Test lightly — it’s the stage that shapes destinies, and this year, the variations might be even sharper.

Start your DAF analysis and current affairs prep as if your PT is on 8th December itself.
Every day counts now.

Good luck 🍀
This is your final sprint — make it count. 💪

⚠️WHEN SHOULD I START PRELIMS?
Mains ready by December? Jan? Feb??

I know these 2 questions are disturbing your mental peace daily.
Follow these simple frameworks 👇
CATEGORY 1 :Never cleared Prelims
➡️ From 1st January: Full on Prelims mode
Till then: Optional Paper 1 / GS4 consolidation.
🎯 Target: 200+ Prelims mock tests along with revision before 15th may.

CATEGORY 2 :Cleared Prelims atleast once, but not confident
➡️ Start Prelims from 1st Feb
Till then: Full focus on Mains
GS4, Optional P1, GS1-2-3 (Mains-only topics)
📌 Make PYQ-based short notes. Target 50+ prelims mocks.

CATEGORY 3 :Minimum 2 Mains appeared and confident about Prelims
➡️ Mains till Feb-end
Gradually shift completely to Prelims by March end / mid-April

And as always, don't forget..
Prelims is decoding mindset game + having strong static subjects command (like Polity )
🚫Ignore coaching FOMO ads and programs (like SFG)
👉 Till March end: Master Static subjects and CSAT, Only After that focus on Current affairs .

⚠️Third batch of Marks booster program will be launched soon.

Stay calm. Stay disciplined.
Good luck. 🍀
15
⚠️Look at the data, not the drama.

Many candidates clear Prelims, Mains repeatedly.
Many improve their rank year after year ( like rank 1 anudeep, aditya and shubham)

Some even enter the Top-100 more than once -

Kartik Jivani — AIR 94 (2018), 84 (2019), 8 (2020)
Pradeep Singh — AIR 93 (2018), 26 (2019)
Namrata Jain — AIR 99 (2016), 12 (2018)

So.. Trust me when I say,
This exam isn’t just pure luck.
Its true nature:
unforgiving, but consistent.

If Prelims didn’t work out,
or Mains marks slipped this year —
don’t internalise failure.

Audit your process.
Strengthen weak links.
Repeat what works.
Discard what drags you down.

Upcoming months are not for panic.
They’re for quiet corrections.

Good luck 🍀
