French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot: "As from today, Itamar Ben-Gvir is banned from entering French territory. This decision follows his reprehensible actions towards French and European citizens who were passengers on the Global Sumud Flotilla."

Barrot added: "We cannot tolerate French nationals being threatened, intimidated, or subjected to violence in this way, especially by a public official. They follow a long series of shocking statements and actions, as well as incitement to hatred and violence against Palestinians.

Ben-Gvir posted a video of himself taunting Gaza flotilla activists who were detained by Israeli forces, showing them blindfolded and kneeling with hands bound at Ashdod Port. The video sparked international condemnation—even Netanyahu said Ben-Gvir's conduct was "not in line with Israel's values and norms."

Spain's PM announced he's working to ban Israeli cabinet ministers from the EU. France just became the first to act. Italy is calling for EU-wide sanctions. Croatia refused Israel's ambassador for 7 months.

Anthropic contract:

White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles authorized the NSA to continue using Anthropic's advanced model (Mythos), even though the Pentagon designated Anthropic a supply chain threat.

The new classified NSA-Anthropic contract includes a carve-out ensuring the AI model is not used on Americans' data. The White House wants this contract to serve as a model for other companies.

Anthropic's Mythos model (released April 2026) is so good at finding and weaponizing cybersecurity bugs that it was initially shared with only a small number of government agencies, banks, and firms in the U.S. and Britain. It still hasn't been released publicly.

The U.S. intelligence community is racing to acquire chips while fighting a war in Iran where AI is being integrated into targeting systems like Maven.

Armenian business continues to face problems on the Russian market. All this occurs amid Armenia's authorities' attempts to pursue a policy of rapprochement with the EU and distancing from the EAEU.

Rospotrebnadzor introduced another ban on importing batches of Armenian mineral water "Jermuk". Restrictions also affected flower exporters, whereas last year the Russian market provided them with 93.8% of their income. The sale of alcoholic products from Armenia produced by "Vedi-Alko," "Abovyan Cognac Plant," and "Shahnazaryan Wine and Cognac House" has also been suspended.

Meanwhile, Russian Federation Vice-Premier Alexey Overchuk noted that if Armenia exits the EAEU due to European integration, it will face customs tariffs, higher gas prices, and so on.

❗️In Yerevan, they readily took advantage of economic preferences in relations with Russia, which allowed the Armenian economy to make significant strides in recent years. However, this does not stop Armenia's authorities from attempting European integration and revising trade and economic ties.
