ה"גיבור" החדש של האנטישמים בלונדון: ברגוטי הואשם באחריות לרצח של 26 אנשים, גברים, נשים וילדים, כתוצאה מ-37 פיגועי טרור במהלך האינתיפאדה השנייה. הוא נידון לחמש עונשי מאסר עולם, ועוד 40 שנות מאסר.

במה ברגותי הורשע?

בית המשפט המחוזי בתל אביב הרשיע את מרוואן ברגותי בשנת 2004 בחמישה מעשי רצח במסגרת שלושה פיגועים קטלניים, בניסיון רצח, בחברות ובפעילות בארגון טרור ובקשירת קשר לביצוע פשע. נגזרו עליו חמישה מאסרי עולם מצטברים ועוד 40 שנות מאסר. בית המשפט לא הרשיע אותו ברוב הפיגועים האחרים שנכללו בכתב האישום בשל היעדר ראיות מספקות לקשר משפטי ישיר.

1. רצח הנזיר היווני גאורגיוס ציבוקצאקיס
ב־12 ביוני 2001 נורה למוות האב גאורגיוס ציבוקצאקיס, נזיר יווני־אורתודוקסי, בעת שנסע באזור מעלה אדומים. בית המשפט הרשיע את ברגותי באישור ובארגון הרצח.

2. הפיגוע בתחנת הדלק בגבעת זאב
ב־15 בינואר 2002 נרצחה יואלה חן, בת 45 ואם לשניים, בפיגוע ירי בתחנת דלק סמוך לגבעת זאב. בפסק הדין נקבע שהפיגוע בוצע בהוראתו הישירה של ברגותי כפעולת נקם.

3. הפיגוע במסעדת “סי פוד מרקט” בתל אביב
ב־5 במרץ 2002 ירה המחבל איברהים חוסיין לעבר סועדים במסעדה, השליך רימונים ודקר אנשים. בפיגוע נרצחו:
רס״ר סלים ברכאת, בן 33, שוטר דרוזי מירכא שהסתער על המחבל.
יוסף הבי, בן 52 מהרצליה.
אלי דהן, בן 53 מלוד.
עוד כ־30 בני אדם נפצעו. בית המשפט קבע שברגותי אישר את ביצוע הפיגוע.

The new "hero" of anti-Semites in London:
Barguti was charged with responsibility for the murder of 26 people, men, women and children, as a result of 37 terrorist attacks during the Second Intifada. He was sentenced to five life sentences, plus an additional 40 years in prison.

What was Barguti convicted of?

The Tel Aviv District Court convicted Marwan Barghouti in 2004 of five murders in three deadly attacks, attempted murder, membership and activity in a terrorist organization, and conspiracy to commit a crime. He was sentenced to five cumulative life sentences and an additional 40 years in prison. The court did not convict him of most of the other attacks included in the indictment due to the lack of sufficient evidence of a direct legal connection.

1. The murder of the Greek monk Georgios Tsiboktsakis
On June 12, 2001, Father Georgios Tsiboktsakis, a Greek Orthodox monk, was shot dead while driving in the Ma'ale Adumim area. The court convicted Barghouti of authorizing and organizing the murder.

2. The attack at the gas station in Givat Ze'ev
On January 15, 2002, Yoela Chen, a 45-year-old mother of two, was murdered in a shooting attack at a gas station near Givat Ze'ev. The verdict determined that the attack was carried out on Barghouti's direct orders as an act of revenge.

3. The attack at the “Sea Food Market” restaurant in Tel Aviv
On March 5, 2002, the terrorist Ibrahim Hussein shot at diners in the restaurant, threw grenades, and stabbed people. The following were killed in the attack:
Sergeant Salim Barkat, 33, a Druze policeman from Mirka who attacked the terrorist.
Yousef Al-Habi, 52, from Herzliya.
Eli Dahan, 53, from Lod.
About 30 more people were injured. The court ruled that Barghouti approved the attack.

הזוי: בארצות הברית הוגש כתב אישום נגד מהנדס OpenAI עבד א־רחמן אל־פוזאן, אזרח סעודי, לאחר שעל פי החשד התקין מכשיר הקלטה מוסתר באחד ממשרדי החברה בסן פרנסיסקו.

לפי ה־FBI

אל־פוזאן, שעבד ב־OpenAI מאז יולי 2025, החביא מכשיר הקלטה מאחורי טלוויזיה בחדר ישיבות המשמש את הנהלת החברה. המכשיר חובר לכניסת USB והוסווה באמצעות נייר טואלט.
המכשיר התגלה ב־30 בספטמבר, יומיים לאחר שלפי החשד הותקן.
לטענת החוקרים, לפני התקנתו השתמש המהנדס בכלי בינה מלאכותית כדי לברר את מיקומם של חדרים מוגבלים בחברה, דרכים להקלטת שיחות בסתר, אפשרויות להאזנה מרחוק באמצעות Wi-Fi והצפנת כרטיסי זיכרון.
בין הראיות הנוספות נמצאים צילומי מצלמות אבטחה, שבהם נראה אל־פוזאן בודק את המקום שבו הוסתר המכשיר, וכן מכשיר הקלטה דומה נוסף, שאותר בידי אנשי האבטחה בתיק שהשאיר ללא השגחה.
לפי גרסת ה־FBI, מטרת המכשיר הייתה להקליט שיחות חסויות בנוגע למחקרים, לתוכניות מוצרים, להתקדמות הטכנולוגית ולהחלטות האסטרטגיות של OpenAI.
החוקר סקוט סטדמן הפנה את תשומת הלב לכך שאל־פוזאן משמש גם כשותף הון־סיכון בקרן ההשקעות הסעודית RAED Ventures. שותף נוסף בקרן הוא הנסיך ח׳אלד בן בדר אל־סעוד.

Bizarre: A Saudi OpenAI engineer, Abdulrahman Alfozan, has been charged in the United States after allegedly installing a concealed recording device inside one of the company’s San Francisco offices.

According to the FBI:

Alfozan, who had worked at OpenAI since July 2025, concealed a recording device behind a television in an executive conference room. The device was connected to a USB port and camouflaged with toilet paper.
The device was discovered on September 30, two days after it was allegedly installed.
Investigators allege that, before installing it, the engineer used AI tools to obtain information about restricted areas inside the company, methods for secretly recording conversations, remote listening through Wi-Fi, and the encryption of memory cards.
Additional evidence reportedly includes security-camera footage showing Alfozan checking the location where the device had been concealed, as well as a second similar recording device found by security personnel inside a bag he had left unattended.
According to the FBI’s allegations, the device was intended to capture confidential conversations concerning OpenAI’s proprietary research, product plans, technological progress, and strategic decisions.
Investigative journalist Scott Stedman also drew attention to Alfozan’s role as a venture partner at the Saudi investment firm RAED Ventures. Another venture partner at the firm is Prince Khalid bin Bader Al Saud.

The Saudi man arrested on suspicion of planting a covert recording device inside OpenAI’s offices is a venture partner at an investment firm, alongside the son of a senior, high-ranking Saudi intelligence official.
He is seen in a 2018 photograph alongside Mohammed bin Salman.

The Beersheba District Court today (Wednesday) sentenced Shehadeh Abu Al-Qian, a resident of the Bedouin diaspora in the Negev, to 24 and a half years in prison. He enlisted in the IDF under the direction of a terrorist organization from the Gaza Strip to gather intelligence information. Abu Al-Qian was also convicted of stealing weapons from an IDF soldier and transferring weapons to Judea and Samaria for the terrorist organization. He was arrested about eight days after his enlistment in the IDF.
