The students found the bomb, picked it up - and even took a picture for their parents. Shortly afterwards, the bomb exploded.

The Home Front Command announced last March that this is exactly the bomb the children were playing with. It's crazy that they approve such a trip without briefing the children about it.

Eitan Masauri, a 14-year-old student who was injured in the incident in the north - tells Prime Minister Netanyahu:

He opened the screw - and then it exploded, the guys flew, there was a two-second shock - and then they told me that I was bleeding. I realized that I was bleeding from my neck

Following the serious incident on the northern border: The Home Front Command distributed information materials to local authorities this evening about the danger of approaching bombs in the field:

Contact with bombs is life-threatening!

The Ministry of Education approved the children's trip to the north, despite a warning sign from the Israel National Foundation prohibiting entry to the area where the student died.

צבא לבנון תפס כ־200 ק״ג של חומרי נפץ שהוברחו מסוריה ללבנון באזור אל־קסר–הרמל.

חומרי הנפץ נארזו בתוך שקים והוכנו להברחה דרך הגבול הסורי–לבנוני. המבריחים נמלטו בחזרה לשטח סוריה, והצבא הלבנוני פתח במאמצים לאיתור המעורבים ולעצירתם.
התפיסה מצטרפת למבצע שביצע הצבא ב־1 באוקטובר, שבו נתפסו כ־245 ק״ג של חומר הנפץ העוצמתי TNT, ארבעה מטעני חבלה, שמונה נפצים וחוטי חשמל המיועדים להפעלתם.
בסך הכול, בשתי התפיסות נתפסו כ־445 ק״ג של חומרי נפץ, נוסף על המטענים, הנפצים וציוד ההפעלה.

Who is #Hezbollah🌟 trying to eliminate?
The Lebanese Army seized approximately 200 kg of explosives concealed in bags and transported on mules across the Syrian border near Qasr–Hermel. The smugglers fled back into Syria, while authorities launched efforts to identify and arrest those responsible.

The seizure follows an October 1 operation in which the army intercepted 245 kg of TNT, 4 explosive devices and 8 detonators, bringing the total seized in the 2 operations to approximately 445 kg of explosives.
