• What was seized? According to Lebanese reports, approximately 780 kilograms of explosives, nails, and small explosive devices were discovered in a vehicle stopped at the Dahr al-Baydar checkpoint while traveling from the Bekaa Valley toward Beirut. Two alleged Hezbollah operatives inside the vehicle were arrested.
• What did the shipment contain? According to MTV Lebanon, it included 216 kilograms of C-4 plastic explosive and 281 kilograms of tetryl. The remainder reportedly consisted of nails and small explosive devices intended to cause mass casualties if detonated.
Other sources, however, including Al Hadath and a Lebanese judicial source cited by AFP, reported a total of approximately 500 kilograms: 250 kilograms of TNT and 250 kilograms of C-4. The precise figures have not yet been confirmed in a detailed official statement.
• Where was the shipment headed? It was reportedly being transported to Dahiyeh in southern Beirut, Hezbollah’s principal stronghold. According to the reports, the detainees admitted that a Hezbollah commander known as “Sajid” had ordered them to transport the shipment from Baalbek and deliver it to a person known as “Dhul-Faqar.”
• What is the status of the investigation? The detainees and the seized materials were transferred to the military police. The case was referred to the Military Court, while investigators are also working to identify and locate “Sajid” and “Dhul-Faqar.”
• The demand in Lebanon: do not bury the case. A Lebanese political source called for all those who planned and carried out the operation to be identified and prosecuted:
“What might have happened had the vehicle passed the security forces and reached its final destination must not be underestimated.”

I am not afraid of you or a master like you. God willing, we will execute you.
Someone like you should die by hanging, by the death penalty.
Did you try to kill me? I only became stronger.

@SODIsraelChannel

I condemn in the strongest possible terms the horrific terrorist attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which claimed the lives of 12 innocent people and injured hundreds more.

On behalf of the people of Israel, I express our deepest condolences to the families of the murdered and our wishes for a full recovery for the injured.

Terrorism targets innocent people and seeks to spread fear and instability. It must be confronted with determination.

Israel expects a strong Middle East – one that stands firm against threats, protects its people, and builds a future of security, cooperation, and prosperity for all the peoples of the region.
