The Emirati Foreign Ministry announced that the Attorney General had ordered the establishment of an investigative team to examine the circumstances of the incident, the motive, and whether it was linked to terrorism or planned in advance.

Captain Smith brought honor to India and demonstrated the true meaning of courage and heroism.

I salute Indian Captain Smith Machar for his extraordinary courage.
Despite being stabbed and seriously wounded, he fought the attacker, resisted him, opened the cockpit door, and enabled the passengers and crew members to overpower him—thereby preventing a major aviation disaster.
He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and citizens of several other countries.
I wish Captain Machar a swift and full recovery.
He is a true hero.
