The IDF says it redirected a munition mid-flight yesterday after spotting civilians near a Hamas military operative targeted in Gaza. With the munition already released and unable to be deactivated, its course was changed to avoid civilian harm. The IDF says this reflects its commitment to distinguishing terrorists from civilians.

U.S. Southern Command says American forces interdicted, cleared and sank a maritime refueling station operated by Los Choneros in the eastern Pacific. Footage shows U.S. Marines boarding the vessel from a Navy RHIB with air support from an Ecuadorian Navy UH-1N Twin Huey. After the personnel on board were removed, the vessel was sunk using planted explosives.

Hamas claims Israel is blocking 65% of the food needed to enter Gaza and that more than 90% of residents currently cannot afford food. Reminder: humanitarian aid entering the Strip is intended to be distributed free of charge. When such aid is resold to civilians, responsibility lies with those who divert it and charge money for it.
