רשת הטלוויזיה הטורקית "סי.אן.אן. טורק" (@cnnturk) מקדישה משדרים נרחבים לפרשת ריגול, שבמרכזה חדירה עמוקה של תוכנת הסייבר הישראלית "פרדטור" (Predator) אל צמרת המודיעין הלאומי של יוון (EYP).
הפרשנים הטורקיים ג'ושקון באשבו ועלי מוראט קיריק מאשימים את 8200 והמוסד בריגול אחר ראש המודיעין המסכל היווני יאניס פפדופולוס, קובעים כי שום גורם בטחוני אינו חסין מפני חדירה, ומתריעים מפני השתלטות ישראלית על המרחב:

ראש היחידה יורט באמצעות תוכנת הריגול השייכת לסוכן ישראלי לשעבר! ישראל היא ארגון טרור… העם היווני חייב להבין את זה! הם מסוגלים לחדור לחברות בכל העולם, ולעשות ככל העולה על רוחם!

CNN Türk echoes Erdoğan and Fidan: September 6, 2026

“Israel is not only an enemy of Greece—it is an enemy of all humanity!”

The Turkish television network CNN Türk (@cnnturk) is devoting extensive coverage to an espionage scandal centered on the alleged deep penetration of the Israeli Predator spyware into the upper echelons of Greece’s National Intelligence Service (EYP).
Turkish commentators Coşkun Başbuğ and Ali Murat Kırık accuse Israel’s Unit 8200 and the Mossad of spying on Greek counterintelligence chief Yannis Papadopoulos. They claim that no security official is immune to infiltration and warn of an Israeli takeover of the Greek security sphere:

“The head of the unit was intercepted using spyware belonging to a former Israeli agent! Israel is a terrorist organization… The Greek people must understand this! They are capable of infiltrating companies around the world and doing whatever they please!

The Israeli connection is being covered up by the global media and international public opinion! Israel intends to bring Greece to a point where not even a bird can fly without its knowledge!”

Security commentator Coşkun Başbuğ launched a fierce attack:

Israel is not only an enemy of Greece—it is an enemy of all humanity, a terrorist organization and a scourge upon the world! The closeness it is now displaying toward Greece is the false closeness of con artists who discard you the moment their interests are served.
