Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi is expected to visit the U.S. this week in his first trip to Washington, seeking American recognition of Somaliland as an independent state. According to Kan News, he is expected to meet politicians and members of Congress in Washington and New York, with hopes of meeting President Trump. According to reports, at least 15 Hamas terrorists have been eliminated so far in a series of IDF strikes west of the Palestinian settlement of Gaza, in occupied Gush Katif. The strikes have continued since the morning as operations against Hamas targets in the area continue.
