בתום מצוד משותף של כוחות הביטחון, כוחות צה"ל עצרו את החשוד כמחבל שביצע את פיגוע הדקירה במרחב העוג׳ה שבחטיבת הבקעה והעמקים.

מעצרו של החשוד התאפשר באמצעות הכוונה מודיעינית ואמצעים של צה"ל ושב"כ שהופעלו במסגרת המצוד.

כוחות הביטחון ימשיכו לסגור מעגל ולפעול מול כל מחבל שיפגע או ינסה לפגוע באזרחי מדינת ישראל וכוחות צה"ל.

החשוד הועבר להמשך חקירת כוחות הביטחון.

IDF soldiers apprehended the suspected terrorist who carried out the stabbing attack in the Al-Auja area

Following a joint pursuit by the security forces, IDF soldiers apprehended the suspected terrorist who executed the stabbing attack in the Al-Auja area.

The suspect’s apprehension was made possible through intelligence guidance and measures employed by the IDF and the ISA as part of the pursuit.

The security forces will continue to operate against any terrorist who harms or attempts to harm Israeli citizens or IDF soldiers.

The suspect was transferred for further questioning by the security forces.

הפגישה מגיעה ימים לאחר התקיפה הישראלית בבסיס חיל האוויר אבו א־דוהור והמשבר סביב האפשרות להצבת כוחות ויכולות צבאיות טורקיות בסוריה.
גופמן וא־שיבאני כבר קיימו ב־14 באוגוסט שיחת טלפון שבה דנו בנוכחות הצבאית הטורקית בסוריה — ארבעה ימים לפני התקיפה הישראלית.

Senior Israeli and Syrian officials met today in an effort to reduce tensions between the two countries, according to two sources familiar with the matter.
According to Barak Ravid, Mossad Director Roman Gofman met with Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shibani.
The meeting comes days after the Israeli strike on the Abu al-Duhur Air Base and amid tensions surrounding the possible deployment of Turkish forces and military capabilities in Syria.
Gofman and al-Shibani had already held a phone call on August 14, during which they discussed the Turkish military presence in Syria — four days before the Israeli strike.

צה"ל ושב"כ תקפו במרחב אל מע'אזי שברצועת עזה מוקדם יותר היום (א') וחיסלו את המחבל אסמעאיל אבו פול, מפקד אתר לייצור אמצעי לחימה במטה הייצור של ארגון הטרור חמאס. המחבל לקח חלק פעיל בייצור מטענים וטילי נ"ט עבור הארגון וחוסל להסרת האיום.

בנוסף, הותקף אותו אתר ייצור, שהוקם בסמוך לנקודת חלוקת סיוע של ארגון בין-לאומי.

מדובר בדוגמה נוספת לשימוש השיטתי של חמאס בקרב תשתיות אזרחיות, ובהן מרכזי חלוקת סיוע, לצורך קידום והוצאה לפועל של מתווי טרור נגד כוחות צה״ל הפועלים במרחב הקו הצהוב ואזרחי מדינת ישראל.

פעולות אלו מוכיחות כי ארגון הטרור חמאס מפר באופן שיטתי את הפסקת האש, תוך ניסיונות שיקום יכולותיו הצבאיות וחיזוק בניין הכוח של הארגון.

כוחות צה"ל בפיקוד הדרום פרוסים במרחב בהתאם להסכם וימשיכו לפעול להסרת כל איום מיידי.

Terror rehabilitation attempts in violation of the ceasefire agreement: The IDF and the ISA struck a #Hamas🔴 weapons manufacturing site and eliminated its commander

Earlier today (Sunday), the IDF and the ISA struck in the Maghazi area in the Gaza Strip and eliminated the terrorist Ismail Abu Ful, a commander at a weapons manufacturing site within Hamas’ production headquarters. The terrorist took an active part in manufacturing explosive devices and anti-tank rockets for Hamas’ military wing and was eliminated to remove the threat.

Additionally, the same manufacturing site, which was established near an aid distribution point operated by an international organization, was struck. This is another example of Hamas’ systematic use of and embedding within civilian infrastructure, including aid distribution centers, to advance and execute terror attacks against IDF troops operating in the Yellow Line area and against Israeli civilians.

These actions demonstrate that the Hamas terrorist organization systematically violates the ceasefire agreement while attempting to rehabilitate its military capabilities and strengthen its force buildup.

Prior to the strike, the IDF issued advance warnings to the population in order to mitigate harm to civilians, in addition to taking further measures to reduce harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.

IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
