תוכנית ״הגירה מרצון״ לעזתים לאירופה מתגבשת בין ישראל לאיחוד האירופי. לפי הדיווחים, השיחות החלו לפני כחודשיים, ובתחילת ינואר 2027 צפוי להתחיל שלב ראשון שיתמקד באיחוד משפחות פלסטיניות שהתפצלו במהלך המלחמה. היעד הראשוני עומד על כ־40 אלף פלסטינים שייצאו בהדרגה למדינות אירופיות ובהן יוון, גרמניה, צרפת, בלגיה, הולנד, ספרד, איטליה ובריטניה. בהמשך צפויה התוכנית להתרחב, כולל מסלולים לסטודנטים שהתקבלו לאוניברסיטאות באירופה או זכו במלגות.

A “voluntary migration” framework for Gazans to Europe is reportedly taking shape between Israel and the EU. Talks began around two months ago, and an initial phase is expected to start in early January 2027, focusing on family reunification for Palestinians separated during the war. The first target is around 40,000 Palestinians moving gradually to European countries including Greece, Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy and the UK. The framework could later expand to include students accepted to European universities or awarded scholarships.
