President Trump has recently discussed the possibility of renewed large-scale military strikes on Iran with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Caine but has chosen to continue diplomatic talks for now.
Trump believes a return to full-scale attacks could undermine negotiations and reduce the chances of reaching a deal to dismantle Iran's nuclear program.

He is also willing to let talks continue beyond the Aug. 18 deadline and, for now, supports limited retaliatory strikes if Iran violates the current memorandum of understanding.

The image shows genuine coins from the British Mandate for Palestine. The coins themselves are authentic, but the claim accompanying them is misleading because it draws a historical conclusion that the coins themselves do not prove.

In 1927, the British Mandate authorities began issuing official coins for Palestine (Eretz Israel), the official name of the Mandate territory.
The coins featured inscriptions in three languages:
English: PALESTINE
Arabic: فلسطين (Filastin)
Hebrew: פלשתינה (א"י) — Palestina (Eretz Israel)
The Hebrew abbreviation א"י ("Eretz Israel") was added at the request of the Zionist leadership to emphasize that "Palestine" referred to the Land of Israel.
The coins were issued in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 mils.

This is the misleading part of the post.
The word "Palestine" was the official name of the territory under the British Mandate from 1920 to 1948. That is why it appeared on:
Coins
Postage stamps
Passports
Government documents
However, during this period there was no sovereign state called Palestine. The territory was administered by Britain under a League of Nations Mandate.
At the time, Jews living in the country were also commonly referred to in English as Palestinians.
For example:
The Palestine Post (later renamed The Jerusalem Post)
The Palestine Symphony Orchestra
Sports teams competing under the name Palestine
Many of these institutions were predominantly Jewish.

That is a separate question.
By the 1920s and 1930s, the local Arab population was increasingly developing and identifying with a distinct Palestinian identity. However, there was still no independent state called Palestine. Palestinian national identity evolved throughout the 20th century, much like many other national identities in the region.

"If Palestine didn't exist, why was its name minted in 1927?"

Yes, the name "Palestine" appeared on the coin because it was the official name of the British Mandate territory.
No, the coin does not prove that a sovereign Palestinian state existed at the time.

Defense minister says IDF has been ordered to prepare an independent strike plan, warning that any Iranian missile fire at Israel would trigger a powerful response while US-led talks continue.

Israel and the United States are preparing for another round of military operations against Iran, and that the current memorandum of understanding is merely a pause to regroup and rebuild capabilities.
According to the newspaper, a European security source said the current situation is nothing more than "an operational pause for reorganization" by the United States and Israel. The source claimed that the Pentagon has instructed U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and military intelligence to deepen cooperation with Israel in order to prepare a new target bank and develop a new operational concept.
According to the source, "The American strategy is based on breaking the adversary—either in a single campaign or through a series of successive operations."
The source further argued that Washington's agreement to the memorandum of understanding reflects a realistic acknowledgment that the previous round of fighting failed to achieve its objectives, as well as an understanding within the Trump administration that ending the war requires paying a certain political price after the conflict began to undermine U.S. influence in the region.
According to the source, "Washington therefore chose to make calculated concessions within clearly defined limits.
