השיחות בין ישראל ללבנון מתמקדות בהצעה הנתמכת על ידי ארה"ב, לפיה כוחות ישראליים ימסרו חלקים מהשטח שנכבש במהלך המלחמה עם #חיזבאללה🌟 לצבא לבנון.

כוחות לבנוניים שיוצבו באזורים אלה יעברו אימונים ובדיקות אמריקאיות כדי לוודא שאינם קשורים לחיזבאללה, בעוד שישראל תשמור על נוכחות צבאית באזור חיץ בגבול. ההצעה נדונה כפרויקט "פיילוט" במהלך סבב השיחות האחרון בוושינגטון.

3. ישראל תישאר בתוך "אזור הביטחון" - כל גישה לבנונית לשטח זה, הן אזרחים והן אנשי צבא לבנונים, תיאסר.

4. הקשר בין צה"ל לצבא לבנון יהיה ישיר - "ללא מתווכים" (כלומר, ללא יוניפי"ל - האו"ם).

Talks between Israel and Lebanon are focused on a U.S.-backed proposal under which Israeli forces would hand over parts of the territory captured during the war with #Hezbollah🌟 to the Lebanese Army.

Lebanese troops deployed to these areas would undergo U.S. training and vetting to ensure they have no ties to Hezbollah, while Israel would maintain a military presence in a border buffer zone. The proposal was discussed as a "pilot project" during the latest round of talks in Washington.
A senior Lebanese security official confirmed that the discussions are taking place and said that talks between the two militaries will focus on the timeline for the withdrawal.
Any final arrangement is expected to be considered only after the talks conclude on Thursday.

The Lebanese Army must take control of the Ali al-Taher Ridge area, remove Hezbollah operatives from the area, and dismantle Hezbollah's infrastructure there under American supervision. Once this is completed, the IDF will withdraw from the villages of Tebnit and Zawtar.
