בישראל מנהלים מעקב אחר נחיתות של מטוסים חות׳ים בשטח ירדן.
היעד העיקרי של חברת התעופה החות׳ית Yemenia Airways, שמפעילה טיסות מעטות ביותר, הוא ירדן - ונמל התעופה הבינלאומי בעמאן.
זאת משום שירדן היא המדינה היחידה באזור שבה החות׳ים רשאים לנחות בטיסה ישירה מנמל התעופה בצנעא.
גם מול נמל התעופה רמון בנגב, וסמוך לעיר אילת - יש נמל תעופה בינלאומי ירדני נוסף - המלך חוסיין, קרוב מאוד לעקבה ולאילת - גם שם החות׳ים רשאים לנחות - וכפי שאנחנו מדווחים הבוקר, הדבר נעשה תחת מעקב של מערכת הביטחון הישראלית.
הנגישות הזו של החות׳ים למרחב העיר אילת ולגבול ישראל-ירדן - והיכולת שלהם להגיע קרוב, היא בין היתר אחת הסיבות העיקריות לחשש הביטחוני במערכת הביטחון, ולאזהרת ראש השב״כ מפני אפשרות למתקפת טרור באילת.

נדגיש שוב, כפי שהבהירו גם בשב״כ: אין כל מידע מודיעיני קונקרטי בנושא בשלב זה. מדובר על מיפוי וניתוח של האיומים הפוטנציאליים, כפי שרואים אותו בכירים רבים במערכת הביטחון הישראלית.

Israel is monitoring the arrival of Houthi-linked aircraft in Jordan.
The primary destination of the Houthi-affiliated airline Yemenia Airways, which operates only a limited number of flights, is Jordan — specifically Amman's Queen Alia International Airport. This is because Jordan is the only country in the region where the Houthis are permitted to land on direct flights from Sana'a International Airport in Yemen.
In addition, opposite Ramon Airport in southern Israel and near the city of Eilat lies another international airport in Jordan — King Hussein International Airport, located very close to both Aqaba and Eilat. Houthi-linked flights are also permitted to land there, and as we report this morning, these activities are being monitored by the Israeli security establishment.
This accessibility to the Eilat area and the Israel–Jordan border, as well as the Houthis' ability to reach the vicinity, is considered one of the main factors behind security concerns within the Israeli defense establishment and the warning issued by the Shin Bet chief regarding the possibility of a terrorist attack in Eilat.
It should be emphasized once again, as the Shin Bet itself has clarified, that there is currently no concrete intelligence indicating a specific threat. Rather, this concerns the mapping and assessment of potential threats, as viewed by many senior officials within Israel's security establishment.
