מטוסי קרב המריאו מבסיס חיל-האוויר "עציון
" וטסו 1,100 ק"מ מעל סעודיה והפציצו את הכור העיראקי.

בתום התקיפה הושמד הכור העיראקי והופסקה תכנית הגרעין העיראקית וכך הוסר האיום הפוטנציאלי העיראקי על מדינת ישראל.

45 years ago today, on the eve of Shavuot on 7/6/1981, Israel attacked Saddam Hussein's nuclear reactor in Iraq.

Fighter jets took off from the Etzion Air Force Base

and flew 1,100 km over Saudi Arabia and bombed the Iraqi reactor.

At the end of the attack, the Iraqi reactor was destroyed and the Iraqi nuclear program was terminated, thus removing the potential Iraqi threat to the State of Israel.

Pakistani Mediation Efforts in an Attempt to Reach an Agreement Between Iran and the US:

The Pakistani Interior Minister met in Tehran with Ahmad Vahidi - the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and one of the central figures in the circle of decision-makers in Iran (who holds Nazi positions).

According to the Noor News newspaper affiliated with the Iranian conservative circle, Iran has been given "the American positions regarding the agreement" and is now examining them.
