נהגים שיכורים, משאיות בוערות, שליח מת: מבט מבפנים על מתקפת הרחפנים הפרועה ביותר של אוקראינה

מבצע הרחפנים של שירות הביטחון האוקראיני "קורי עכביש", שחשף כיצד הוא כמעט נכשל מספר פעמים.

המבצע נדחה תחילה לאחר שנהגי המשאיות ששכרו להובלת הרחפנים השתכרו לחלוטין.

לאחר מכן, משאית אחת איבדה את הגג שלה בדרך, וחשפה את הרחפנים; הנהג האמין שנחשף והמשיך למקום מסתור.

ב-1 ביוני, ביום המתקפה, הקשר עם אחד הנהגים נעלם לפתע. הוא נמצא מאוחר יותר מת, והמשאית שלו נשרפה כליל.

כל המבצע תואם על ידי צוות סוכנים סודי - זוג נשוי שבנה כ-150 רחפנים, עבר מבחני פוליגרף של שירות הביטחון, ואפילו שרד חקירה שלוש שעות של שירות הביטחון הפדרלי לפני שברח בהצלחה מרוסיה.

Drunk drivers, burning trucks, a dead courier: an inside look at Ukraine’s wildest drone attack.

The Ukrainian Security Service’s drone operation “Spider Web” was revealed, showing how it nearly failed several times.

The operation was initially delayed after the truck drivers hired to transport the drones got completely drunk.

Later, one truck lost its roof on the road, exposing the drones; the driver believed he had been compromised and continued to a safe hideout.

On June 1, the day of the attack, contact with one of the drivers suddenly disappeared. He was later found dead, and his truck had been completely burned.

The entire operation was coordinated by a covert agent team — a married couple who built around 150 drones, passed Security Service polygraph tests, and even survived a three-hour interrogation by the Federal Security Service before successfully escaping Russia.
