I believe we're absolutely in the right. The world... the human world... can no longer abide the unceasing depredations of a plague of meta-powered thugs that share occupancy of this increasingly small planet.
So, yeah. I think it's completely reasonable as a species to decide we've quite simply had enough of homicidal metahuman psychopaths.
If I had my way, we'd dump them in empty space, so we're being more than compassionate in giving them a world of their own to ruin.
We're giving them a better chance than they ever gave us. My conscience is clear.
