The 18th sunrise lights up the horizon, steady and unassuming, asking nothing but to be noticed for what it is—a whisper of light.
That time of year thou mayst in me behold
When yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang
Upon those boughs which shake against the cold,
Bare ruin'd choirs, where late the sweet birds sang.
In me thou see'st the twilight of such day
As after sunset fadeth in the west,
Which by and by black night doth take away,
Death's second self, that seals up all in rest.
In me thou see'st the glowing of such fire
That on the ashes of his youth doth lie,
As the death-bed whereon it must expire,
Consum'd with that which it was nourish'd by.
This thou perceiv'st, which makes thy love more strong,
To love that well which thou must leave ere long.
Sonnet 73, Shakespeare.

With Donobek I took for the first time lessons offline. His approach was quite different from my first teacher but adjusting to his method of teaching didn’t take much effort and time as everything was clear and strategic to improve my score to 700+ in 3 weeks. One of the unique approaches he had was an individual plan he made for me and even predicted my score based on my performance in Mock Tests. (I’ve got to tell you that a platform for mock testing SATashkent has is a game changer as it builds a testing environment and helps ease the anxiety before the taking the actual exam) Finally, his constant feedback and mentorship helped me secure 760 on the SAT EBRW in just 3 weeks.

Ramadan Mubarak!
I almost forgot to post about D7's life in the past months. I'd say nothing serious has happened to him yet. He is going to the gym at times (he must be consistent tho), teaching part-time at SATashkent, and interning with the youth agency. He got three good unis ready to apply for eyuf and also recently interviewed with an Ivy League institution (not sure how much it'll matter in the end but yeah). He is keeping his expectations quite low now, so he won’t feel lost later. Anyways, I wish you all a blessed Ramadan, and I hope it will bring you whatever you've most prayed for✨💥

https://youtu.be/rA3moM43MK0?si=B0jMz7JmnkpXkpwX
Bugungi videomizda SATashkentdagi eng yuqori natija olgan studentning ustozi, ya'ni Donobek Qahramonov bilan gaplashamiz. Donobekning shaxsiy natijasi — SAT 1560 va IELTS 7.5, uning eng yuqori natija olgan studenti esa SAT 1580 ball to‘plagan.
Video davomida SAT uchun eng kerakli bo‘lgan maslahatlar hamda Donobekning o‘zi bosib o‘tgan yo‘llar haqida gaplashamiz. Videodan, hech bo‘lmaganda, SAT English qismingizni yaxshilash uchun bitta foydali maslahat olishingiz aniq! Ko‘p narsalarni o‘rganasiz, deb va'da bermaymiz, lekin foydali bo‘lishiga harakat qilamiz.
🚀Videoni ko‘ring va agar yoqqan bo‘lsa, uni yaqin tanishlaringizga ulashing!

Hey, everyone. I know it's been much time since I last posted, and I am quite surprised to see that the proportion of people who have stayed here is immense. In this post below, I'm going to talk about some essential updates in D7's life!
With 9 unforgettable months of teaching at SATashkent, I’ve decided to step back from offline SAT prep (not quite sure with online case yet) and focus on exploring something new. And my last group is taking the exam in 7th June. More than just saying a short goodbye, I want to thank all my students, mentors, and teammates who’ve involved in this journey.
Spending my initial 2 months as a support teacher, I worked individually with dozens of students, especially the ones coming from Presidential Schools before their August exam. And I can still remember having some unpleasant feedback about my teaching skills and some low results with my first group, which over time got resolved after my dinner with Asadbek aka and Jamshidbek to discuss the solutions for the problems I was facing.
In terms of the student results, they basically have made me and the whole SATashkent team speechless. I have worked with more or less 70 students since October SAT exam, and overall, my close to 30 students scored 700+ in verbal (EBRW) part of the exam:
But behind every number, there were some students who stayed late after class, who invited me for a battle over questions like "magical realism/Chinese folklore", and who didn’t give up after their low mock exam scores.
Every time the lift elevated to the 7th floor, the thing that always caught my attention more than anything else has been "😮💨 You will never walk alone❤️ " on that red wall. And, tbh, it now feels strange to leave something that’s been an essential part of my life. But I believe, I'll still be an essential part of this family, contributing to its mission of guiding the dedicated youth toward their dreams.
Let’s just say I’ll be hitting the books again soon, not as a teacher but as a student. I'll share more about that in the coming posts...

10 of them scored 750+ on the verbal section (EBRW):
2×750s,
4×760s,
3×770s,
1x 790, which was overall (1580)
Among these, here are some examples of score boosts which still amaze me:
— from 550 to 730 (+180 pts)
— from 620 to 760 (+140 pts)
— from 650 to 760 (+110 pts)
— from 690 to 790 (+100 pts)
And the crazy part? They did it in just 1-1.5 months.

After almost a year of teaching, learning, and dreaming, it's finally time to be a student again.
I’ll be starting my undergraduate studies at NYU Shanghai (Ranked 33 in THE) this fall with a decent scholarship (I'll pay the amount I wrote in EFC) will major in Economics and minor in Political Science. Considering that I've never traveled outside Uzbekistan, my adaptation to a whole new environment and language might take some certain amount of time. And hopefully, I will be sharing some really cool stuff about the studies in the near future.
Btw, if you’ve got any essential resources, like Khan Academy classes, to get ready for the academic challenges in university, related to Calculus, Econ, and necessarily Academic Writing, can you write them down or leave any link in the comments?

Have just arrived to the dorm. A bit far from the campus in the city center, but thanks god, we got a cool AC!
Here is some view from the balcony.

Life in Shanghai is feeling quite amazing tbh. I've met people from almost every continent and got to know many of them. The academic life didn't turn out to be stressful as expected; I enjoyed every session so far, at least in the first week. Since NYU is ranked top 2 globally in finance and 13th in economics, I wasn't sure to choose which one as my intended major. But after a past week of classes, I feel like economics is the right fit (and plan to minor in finance).
Learning Chinese from zero feels so interesting but also onerous with a sheer number of assignments given. I've practiced writing 你好 (ni hao) this whole week and still struggle to appropriately write it, lol. Beyond classes, I really liked the campus and the city's well-planned infrastructure. The huge cafeteria here includes a variety of international and halal cuisines for muslims. The library has two floors with plenty of quiet study areas. In the city, you can see greenery, like the trees on the road, literally everywhere.
So yeah.
