F-1 student visa: all students are eligible to apply for an F-1 visa, as long as they have been admitted to a full-time program, meet the English requirements, and can show the proof of funding 💸
J-1 exchange visitor visa: as its name suggests, this visa is for exchange students. Eligible students are those who can show substantial proof of funding ( at least 51%) 💰
📌 DEPENDENTS (SPOUSE AND CHILDREN 🗿)
F-1 student visa: F-1 holder's children and spouse are eligible to apply for an F-2 visa. F-2 children may attend full-time kindergarten, elementary or secondary school. Though, they are not eligible to apply for any work authorization in the U.S. 👨👩👦
J-1 exchange visitor visa: J-1 holder's dependents are eligible to apply for J-2 visa. They can apply to USCIS for work authorization by demonstrating a need for supplemental support for self or children. 👨👩👧
📌 HEALT INSURANCE
J-1 student visa: Federal regulations do not require F‐1 students and their F‐2 dependents to carry Health Insurance, but some universities may require. 💊

By writing hundreds of reflection essays about your life, you can eventually unite them into one perfect 600/650 word essay after so much editing. (Btw, it is not my own words, I learnt it by reading the messages from some previous successful applicants' channels)
I wish I had much time for writing many personal statements and chose one or unite them into one perfect one, but I started writing it too late. Still, ig it is much better to master smth, though somewhat late, than just regretting about not doing it all the time.
