V tomto zápase vidíme jako mírného favorita Jablonec, který je odpočatý, jelikož minulý týden nehrál kvůli špatnému povrchu svůj zápas. Možstvo je skvěle kondicky i takticky připraveno a trenér Rada odvání v tomto klubu výbornou práci. Ostrava hraje nemoderní fotbal a většina týmů ji přehrává, i přes to že má svém středu kvalitní fotbalisty jako je Stronati, De Azevedo nebo Kuzmanovič, který by neměl nastoupit kvůli nemoci. Podle posledních zpráv chtělo vedení odvolat trenéra Kozla a oslovit trenéra Vrbu, ale Sparta byla rychlejší a tento souboj vyhrála. Mužstvo je navíc v zápasech velmi dobře čitelné a má problemy se střílením branek, rychlostí a i kondicí, což by mělo sedět Jablonci a minimálně bod by si měl z Ostravy odvést.
