As some of you might know, itch.io has now shadowbanned Furry Visual Novels marked as NSFW, which means that multiple projects, including Tennis Ace can not be found through itch.io's search engine anymore!

Considering how this effects the FVN community, we thought it would be good to make a public announcement regarding this issue, to spread awareness.

So itchio has shadowbanned any games tagged with 'nsfw', 'adult', or 'erotic' so they don't show up in searches, and several devs have reported that their r18 games have been removed from the site with no warning

This obviously heavily hurts Furry VN's and other projects, as most of them depend on itch.io as it's main platform of contribution, next to Patreon.

There is a petition on change.org directly targeting Mastercard/Visa, who are now forcing itch.io and also Steam to sweep NSFW projects under a rug, some projects have even been removed completely.

As of right now, we don't really know what kind effect this will have on Furry Visual Novels as a whole, but I would recommend to just download your favourite projects.
